Nice place to get away from the craziness of traffic around the area. The place is secluded with beautiful trails for walking, jogging or biking. There's plenty of wildlife in this area. Deer, coyotes, fish, squirrels, raccoons, lots of birds and water snakes. The water fall is cool and soothing. I like to sit down by the water fall and listen to the noise the water makes as it hits the rocks below. It's so relaxing just puts you in a total different mindset when you go that place.

The park is near my work so I frequent the trails. Nice area with a fair amount of bike and jogger traffic. Some nice views on the south side. Surface is crushed stone and well maintained.

This is one of my favorite places for bicycling. The main loop is about 9.5 miles of crushed stone, and I usually ride once in each direction for variety. It's hilly by Chicago standards. DuPage County seems to do a good job maintaining it. I go on weekdays because weekends can be busy.

The ~10 mile flat loop makes this a great place to go and put in some miles while training. The 8 foot wide limestone path makes it great for walking, running, biking etc.

My niece and I took our bikes on the trails. It was really fun. She almost died, lol. The water was shallow enough for us to go in. There were others on the trails so I wasn't too concerned about danger. Just always stay alert.
