This forest preserve has wonderful fall leaves, water, and is not too populated! Perhaps my favorite in the county!

Nice to see nature. Bathrooms are without running water. Has picnic area.

There's not much here, which is exactly why I like it so much. One porta John, a few picnic tables, waste can and a large grassy area to picnic. Other than that it's just you and the herons.

Great location with lots of picnic areas with privacy. A bunch of trails to walk or bike. Very peaceful and quiet.
