Kline Creek Farm is an 1890s living history farm, owned and operated by the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County. Visitors can experience life on a DuPage County Farm more than a century ago! We offer programs and events throughout the year.

Story

Kline Creek Farm is open all throughout the year. There is no admission charge to see the Farm, though there is sometimes a small fee charged for classes and special programs. For personal safety, we ask that riders leave their bicycles in one of the racks provided near the Visitor Center, and no dogs are allowed beyond the front gate except for vested service dogs.

Farming as it was done in the 1800s! Informative and charming; check their scheduled events they have great children's activities! Honey right from the farm is available in the store as well as many other items including absolutely beautiful handmade soaps wrapped in farm-grown cotton! (The shop is a little pricey but you're supporting the farm and once you visit you won't mind the price tag!)

Beautiful place to just get away from the city. They offer tours of an old farm house every hour, there are farm animals for kids to see, you can walk through a chicken coup. Good place to get away.

Great place to learn about how life was in dupage county over 100 years ago. My 21 month old daughter loves to run around the property and look at all the animals. The chickens are a special favorite. A fun, educational experience that is also free!

Very cool small farm that you can enjoy with your family and friends. There is planty to see like chickens, horses, sheeps turkey's.

Enjoyable Victorian living history farm. Go in the spring when the new lambs arrive, or later for sheep shearing. There are cattle, old barns, blacksmithing demonstrations, an ice house, and tours and demonstrations in the farm house. Modern bathrooms in the visitors center. There's a bit of a walk from the parking lot and visitors center to the farm buildings over a wide crushed limestone path.
