Walmart Markham (E) Supercentre

As Walmarts go, great place! Lots of variety! Great stuff! Got everything we needed! Helpful staff that kept things moving well and fast!

On Tuesday April 2, 2024 came to the mobility area of the store—nobody there. A Walmart employee paged twice but nobody showed up. Waited 15 minutes of my lunch break and nobody came to help. Will not be back

I’ve been going to this Walmart since it opened and it used to be a great place to shop but it’s so frustrating nownI went there at 8 pm on a Tuesday night and bought $200 worth of stuff…my cart was full but when it came time to check out, the only cashiers available were the ones where you have to check out yourself! There was no option for me to go to a real live cashier to get checked out. This is very inconvenient to say the least. When a customer has a few items, the self checkout option is great, but when you have a cart full of items, self checkout is ridiculousnThere were at least 6 Walmart employees all standing around in the self check out area so why couldn’t one of them be at a regular store checkout cashier when the store is open to 10 pm?nWhen I finally spoke to a manager of some sort, she basically told me I had to ask them to open one so next time do that. Imagine that, me going into thier store to spend my money and I have to ask for service!nGuess I’ll be spending more of my money at Costco where they always have live cashiers open!

Waste of my time! Tell me why I have to run back and forth playing games with these people after scanning in some whitening strips. I see it's 18.77 and then this lady in a black and white checkered shirt with black hair at the self check out is making me wait for her to check the price again and comes back telling me I got the wrong one but the one beside it is 18.77. like weird you're not going to honour the price of a locked up item that was clearly in front of that price tag bur okay. so then i'm like okay that's fine i'll get the other ones then she makes me go back to get the strips again but doesnt even come WITH me to open the locked up ones so i'm standing there running around like a headless chicken for 5 minutes looking for someone in the halls and then i eventually have to chase someone down in a different section and he tells me fatima is supposed to be there and he cant help me so i go back and shes nowhere to be found so i have to call for someone at self checkout to help me open the box for the strips. so fatima comes and she tells me theyre 27 dollars and i'm so confused so i bring it back to the other lady at the self check out and she goes back on her word all of a sudden and says it's not the price she told me it was before she sent me off for NOTHING. like okay i understand if you guys put up a wrong price or it's not scanning right or whatever but i just came back from a full day of work and i an exhausted WHY on earth would you tell me its that price and send me on a wild goose chase if you're just going to change your mind and paint me like a fool in the end like we couldve avoided this altogether! unbelievable! i've never been to a worse walmart in my entire life i'm just so exhausted and disappointed.

First time to this Walmart location. Very nice here with separate entrance to Food and Fashion or home and pharmacy so you don't need to walk so far off to have to get in from one entrance which some of the Walmarts are like that. There is also a McDonald's and public washrooms.
