Canadian Tire

Terrible experience at this store while purchasing tires, rude customer service in the service department. An employee was angry for some reason and took it out on the customers waiting in line, and was very sarcastic. Was there with my uncle and we were next in line, and the employee was advising us to purchase the warranty. I've had terrible experiences with their warranty and whenever we try to get something replaced they make some excuse to why they can't do it. But this employee was telling us that it will give us peace of mind. I was advising my uncle not to do it because both of us have had trouble replacing our tires here before. We mentioned that we had the warranty on our old tires (which was still within warranty) and we were having trouble with the tires (one of them was leaking constantly). He told us to buy the warranty for the new tires and he would see what he could do about the old tires. The next day we spoke to the same person and that's when he bothered to even look up our warranty, told us he couldn't find the purchase because they upgraded to a new system and he couldn't find the paperwork. Honestly the worst store ever, employees with TERRIBLE work ethic. They would do anything and say anything for a sale.

Worst service at this auto center. Checked the waiting time for a tire service . Front desk service personnel mentioned no waiting time as all four technicians were without any job in hand at the time of my service request. Once service order created one of the technician just put it in to the folder and went in to the work shop and all four were chatting without looking doing any work. When asked the front desk personnel no help from him. Took the key back and left without service performed but with lost time

Horrible experiences with the automotive department at this location. Had an appointment to have my winter tires put on my vehicle, and when I showed up I was told by a very irate associate that they did not have time for me and that I would have to leave my vehicle overnight or reschedule. They also told me twice that they had lost my purchased tires! I wound up rescheduling, and on the new appointment date it still took over 4 hours for the install, yet they took a walk-in within a half hour of her arrival (due to an apparent cancellation). The irate associate spoke down to me; like I was not an important customer. I witnessed him deal with other customers in the exact same way, over the course of my 4+ hour wait. I was so disappointed in the service I received in this location, and will not ever be returning. I advise you consider the same!

One of better selection stores. Selection of tires, auto repair, key cutting. I also enjoy the clearance/sale bins in the middle of the store. The paint department unfortunately i find limited in offering it is not a specialty paint store after all. I do seem to always find unique tools and offerings that makes a particular job or chore easier with a nifty ingenius accessory. Fun convenient store dont forget your Canadian Tire dollars?

Tues. Dec. 18th, 2017, went to this store because I was in the area. Had originally purchased a product from another Canadian Tire store and wanted to know if I could get a price adjustment as it was selling online for a cheaper price. Was initially told that they had to have 4-5 of the item in stock before they could do that. Asked to speak to a manager, was told they have it in their system but none in stock so they can't do it. Explanation is that each store has different owners and was told to go back to the Canadian Tire store it was purchased at. Was also asked if it was a toy and that they just implemented a new policy that day that Xmas items aren't subject to price adjustments but I pointed out that I bought the item on Friday (it's not a Xmasy toy). Anyway, when asked if I could see their price adjustment policy they said it is online. They said they only do price adjustments for things on flyers. I wish their store would make their policies transparent and have hard copies on hand if requested by a customer. Not worth my time to return the items to that store (would they take it even though it was purchased at another location?) and then they would have 2 in stock and then ask to purchase at the lower online posted price. Would be nice if the Canadian tire franchise and their owners had consistent pricing and their price adjustment policies more transparent. I shopped that night at another Canadian Tire location that proposed a solution and had better customer service.
