The staff member, Annie, became upset with the kids as soon as she entered the toy section. She told them they couldn't play there, causing two girls to run away. I'm questioning why they're trying to sell toys in this manner. It's natural for kids to want to touch the toys. The staff shouldn't get upset just because kids are playing with the toys. If they don't want them to play, they should put up a sign or implement a better system. My son tried to leave, but Annie accused him of opening a box, which he denied. Despite his tears and protests, she continued to accuse him. I was surprised she did this in front of me. I felt she simply ignored me. I considered leaving, but I couldn't just walk away. I asked Annie to apologize to my son for accusing him of lying. Instead, she blamed me for letting him play with the toys. I acknowledged that, but emphasized that she still needed to apologize to my son. She refused and asked me to leave, even threatening to call the police. She pretended to make the call, but the manager arrived instead. The manager claimed Annie didn't need to apologize, saying she had done what was necessary for safety. I disagreed, pointing out that being rude to customers wasn't necessary. My concern was about the toys being sold in a way that allowed kids to play with them, and also about the used toys being sold with sharp edges that could harm children. My 7-year-old son got cut by one of those toys and was also treated unfairly today. The whole experience was mean, unkind, and cold for my three kids and me. If you want to find the reason to be mean to 7year old boy, please watch the security camera recording. You will only see your ugliness.
Retail supervisor with the name Mini is not a pleasant person to deal with. Extremely rude and refuses to understand the customers issues.nnDonation staff provided a coupon for 20% off. When I went to redeem, it showed as already used. Explained this to Mini how I had just donated and received this and she said that I already used it and wouldn’t be able to give any discount. No matter how I explained the situation she seemed to believe I was lying to her.nnThese corporations no longer care about fixing their issues and push it onto the customer to deal with.nnStore is great, it’s just Mini that makes it a 1 star review.
There are many cool things you can find here. Especially clothes and miscellaneous items.nnThey don't have a good place to test electronic though. Also there's not a lot of people working on the floor which sometimes can be hard to find someone to ask. Also, some of the items are not organized properly.
It has more options than some other branches. But there is a problem with pricing at Value Village. Dollarama has products that I can buy new for the same price. We prefer second hand to save money but this pricing is the same as new. So why should I choose here? They need to review
Extremely high prices for a pair of worn out boy shoes $35!. Staff was rude and rushed people at the self check out. They were looking over your shoulder like a hawk...They make you feel embarrassed like your not scanning everything.
