Another good find in for Indian chats and street food, my kid loved their freebee chips they offered and also the way they serve in small carts. Also the Taste and Ambience beyond our expectations. A decent chat place to hangout in Calgary in the evenings.
I am almost an expert in Indian cuisine, have tried cooking them and have tried many many restaurants. This is the first time trying a restaurant claiming to serve street food. Just to be fair we ordered five different dishes, one of them was appetizer veg kurkure momos. My suggestion is to never try their must try pav bhaji it is three white buns and a weak veggie sauce. Basically carbohydrates! Their chicken biryani was good, it has a unique flavour, to some extent different from other biryanis. I also warn you about the Chole Kulche. The pea khoresht does not have enough spices.
Visited this location after seeing an Instagram reel. The vada pav was very tasty and the chilli that come along with it as actually spicy. Aloo Tikki was equally good.nnThe veg momos were good but not the best I’ve had in Calgary.nnIt was busy but the wall decor, the type of dishes they serve in and the overall vibe was really good.nnWill visit again for sure.nnPS: Lots of vegetarian options for those interested.
This is hands down best restaurant in calgary to try MAHARASTRIAN delicacies that is usually not found outside india. WE tried kothambir vadi, sabudana vada, misal pav, paneer kathi roll, vada pav, crispy burger. Cutting chai. Each item was tasty, freshly made and good quantity. Paneer was soft and juicy. Misal was tasty and spicy as it should be. Sabudana vada was crispy and freshly made. Cutting chai on top of everything was superb. A hidden gem in calgary and will be missed as we dont find all these items in UsA .
Nice place to check out Indian street food. The way they serve food is bit different from regular Indian restaurants in Calgary. The ambience is also nice. But the restaurant seems to be compact wrt customers coming in.
