I went there last night with a couple of friends and man I am NOT exaggerating when I say this is the best place to eat briyani in Calgary. It comes on par with some of the best south indian restaurants in the south of India or even be better than that.nnThe owners had a wonderful conversation with us and even showed us the grocery store attached to the restaurant even after closing time. They were extremely kind people and I would say 15/10 for the hospitality they showed towards us.nnI come from the same region as them so believe me when I say that this was some of the BEST and most authentic briyani and side dishes you can find. They also gave us 2 curries as samples for reviewing and one of it was the Murg Shalimar, which was my most favourite from the place.nnThe meat was extremely fresh and tender, and the overall experience with the quality and freshness of the food was top-notch. I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews honestly, my experience was the extreme opposite of whatever these bad reviews say.nnI would recommend every person who wants truly the best, authentic hyderabadi biryani and Andhra cuisine in general to try this place. If you want watered down version of Indian food with ketchup and tomatoes only, this place is not for you.nnThank you folks for the wonderful dinner and extreme hospitality! :
I've been a regular customer at this restaurant for the past two years, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently excellent, with every dish bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the exceptional customer service. The staff are always friendly, attentive, and go out of their way to make sure you're having a great experience. On top of that, they always offer extra portions when there's even the slightest inconvenience, which shows how much they care about their customers
Amazing take our spot for authentic Hyderabadi biryani. I swung by here last year and tried their haleem and chicken biryani, which were both amazing. This time around, we tried the Mutton Biryani, Double ka Meetha, and Chicken lollipops.nnThe biryani is the closest thing to the Mutton Biryani from Shah Ghouse in Hyderabad. It takes you back to Hyderabad for sure. The lollipops were fantastic, and the double ka meetha was just sweet enough.nnTried & tested several times. Must visit for quick, authentic, and easy takeout!
Stay away! Very bad quality.nnI took veg biryani, half the container was filled with big size potatoes.nAnd the paneer curry was extremely oily. They didn’t add oil to curry, they added little curry to a litre of oil.nTime, money & food everything went waste!nnOne may think prices are less, but QUALITY is WORST. My stomach got upset.nnAdvice to owner:nChange chef or preparation method, improve quality. If not someone will for sure complain to AHS.nnI would never go again.
