Excellent food and wonderful service. The restaurant in nice and bright with a cozy and pleasant atmosphere. Nice and colourful. The food was quicker than I expected and served beautifully. Our waiter was extremely pleasant with us, as well as all the other staff. We will come again!!

We visited this restaurant for lunch, drawn in by the 4.6-star rating and the promise of a good buffet experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be very disappointing.nnThe food selection was extremely limited and poorly managed. Many items, like the butter chicken, sweets, chicken starters, and fish pakoras, were empty and took 15-20 minutes to be refilled. It was frustrating to wait that long for basics at a buffet. When food was available, the quality was far from what we expected — it seemed like canned food rather than fresh, flavorful dishes.nnThe staff did try to help and were polite, but even with their efforts, we were left unsatisfied with the experience overall. We were hoping for a much better experience based on the ratings but sadly left quite disappointed

First time ordering from Gate Of India.nI tried a few other Indian restaurants  nothing can compare.nI will be only be ordering from this restaurant from now on when im craving Indian food!nDelicious Best Chicken Tikka Masala I have had so far in Calgary great flavor not to spicy, plenty of food for the price.nnVegetable Samosa nice flavor, Basmati Rice was cooked perfectly. Garlic Naan is nice and soft excellent flavor. Plain Naan is fresh.nChutney was refreshing and went nice with this meal!n

The food was stellar; some of the best Indian food we’ve had! We ordered the butter chicken, chicken tikka, chicken vindaloo and veg biriyani with some garlic naan. The chicken was insanely tender and soft, not dry at all and everything was very flavorful  they also offered raita with the meal and a crispy chip appetizer with some chutneys. The staff was very sweet and attentive and even gave us some lollipop candies at the end  highly recommend this place!nnP.S. if you ask for spicy, they will not let u down!!

The food was absolutely delicious! The service was super fast and efficient! We ordered the butter chicken and naan along with the chicken biriyani! The portions were wonderful, more than enough for 2 people! Will de be back in the future! 10/10 recommend!!
