Vernon Lodge and Conference Centre

If I could give service 100 stars I would. The staff at the Vernon Lodge and the Cabana Restaurant Lodge were terrific. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. It was a pleasure to stay here. The food at the Cabana restaurant was excellent. I loved the Rosti breakfast which was a large potato pancake with a few choices of toppings I have the brisket one day and the avocado tomato the next, both were terrific. It was great to wind down in the hot tub at the end of the day. I just wish it was open a little longer. The room and bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Although we only stayed 1 night we had an overall great experience. Unfortunately we didn't get the room that could have been given to us, and the breakfast was really slow to come out. The location was great The staff were friendly and helpful. It would have been nice to get a nice room.

We just had our wedding there the ceremony and reception. The staff were absolutely amazing, they went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed or wanted. The buffet food was hands down the best Buffy food I have had an event. I would highly recommend this place. It might not be updated on the outside but once you walk in the whole place has been redone and it feels like you have walked through into a different world.

We really enjoyed our stay, we are from the area and needed to have a bit of a staycation. The only suggestion we have is that the pool is really cold. It was the main reason we booked, and we found we couldn't enjoy it for very long. I actually didn't want to get in at all, it was so cold.

This place is awesome. The rooms are dated and lip stick on a pig kind of feel… but the atmosphere is awesome. Sitting on the balcony you feel you’re outside. The river running through the hotel is wicked. And the cabana bar is amazing. Love this spot.
