We will be returning as our stay was amazing. Gina at the front desk absolutely phenomenal! her hospitality and customer service is impeccable. Only giving four stars because the blankets kind of suck they're like thick sheets and they need hot chocolate down at the breakfast for kids.nBreakfast was incredible though lots of variety, make your own waffles.nLots of parking close to a whole bunch of anemones including a grocery store right across the street. Came for 2 nights and stayed for 4.nThe pool with the water slide is amazing for kids and something to do for a few hours a day to keep them busy
We had a group booking here for a hockey tournament. When booking I requested a late check out and was advised it would be subject to availability but yes they would do what they can to accommodate it. When we checked in, we were told under no circumstances would they allow late check out because we were part of a group booking. We were then handed a list of additional rules that apply because we are part of a hockey team group. I must mention our team is 5 and 6 year old children. I don’t expect to not follow the rules of the hotel but I do expect to be treated with respect and the same courtesy as any other hotel guest. I can guarantee I will not use this hotel for our team on future group bookings. The rooms were in poor condition and the breakfast was sub par. What would make up for this would be exceptional customer service but unfortunately that is not the case at this hotel. The location is great-lots of food options nearby and right next store to a large grocery store.
Pretty disappointed with this one. I've used the brand a lot but this property is below average. The curtains were torn in the room. The bathroom wasn't as clean as it should be. Corners had muck. Optics weren't good. The gym was a huge disappointment. If you like a tread mill you're good but otherwise forget it.nThe pool was in sad shape. The area appeared clean but lots of surface rust everywhere. The window is broken on the outside and you can see the weather damage that is taking place due to the damage. They ran out of towels in the pool. When asked several times to replenish the towels the guy didn't care. Said he did. But multiple people asked but nothing arrived. Just carried on on his phone.nBreakfast was the worst. Undercooked potato. Eggs were questionable. It didn't open on time. Service was ready until 630.nWe were a group and felt policed pretty hard for no reason. A front desk person complained some of the team were talking in the hallway near the lobby. Not sure what the problem was. We rented 17 rooms so common area gatherings should be acceptable. Especially during daytime hours. I'll probably avoid this property in the future. Not horrific or anything. Just not near as good as others.

The room was in good shape and everything relatively new, but a bit small. The swimming pool was also a bit small, but kids enjoyed themselves with the water slide. The breakfast was very basic and nothing impressive. I never enjoy eating with disposable utensils. No bar in the lobby to serve drinks or snacks. The laundry machine was a big plus, as we got the chance to wash some clothings. No Safe in the room.nnThe hotel was very clean, quiet and organized. I think it is meant to be a budget hotel, and nothing like a real Marriott.
