Everyone I dealt with at the dealership was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, answering all my questions and making sure I found the perfect vehicle.nnA special shoutout to Jesse Pearson, who went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable with my decision. Jesse was very patient with all my questions, and genuinely cared about me finding the right vehicle for my budget and needs. He even took the time to walk me through all the features of my new vehicle before I drove off the lot.nnI couldn't be happier with my experience and highly recommend Valley Toyota to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle. Thank you for making car buying such a positive experience!
Less than 1 !!nnOn May 2, 2024, I booked an appointment at Valley Toyota Chilliwack Service Department to have an incessant emergency brake squeal assessed and fixed. I dropped off my car and was told to pick it up several hours later. To my dismay, the team never addressed the squealing brakes. Instead, they focused on a power belt issue, which I had mentioned but clearly stated was not the immediate concern.nnThey condescendingly informed me that the belt was not the correct size, despite it being the belt they had ordered according to the car's VIN. My main concern—the squealing emergency brake—was completely ignored. Furthermore, they added an oil change, filter change, and an overall inspection, none of which I requested, resulting in a bill of $406.24 for services I never authorized!nnDespite repeatedly informing the service department that my primary concern was the emergency brake, they gaslit me and condescendingly told me the belt couldn’t be fixed. This was after they charged $192 to merely loosen a belt, which they couldn’t replace, and performed an unnecessary engine oil and filter service for an additional $100.nnA month later, my husband took a day off to look at the vehicle and fixed the problem himself. The brakes were grinding against the brake pads—an issue the Toyota service department could have easily diagnosed and resolved a month ago.nnAdding to the frustration, we’ve been dealing with family heart-related issues, hospital visits, and the recent death of my father-in-law. Despite my numerous calls to the dealership to address the brake squeal, no one seemed to care.nnI strongly advise against using the Valley Toyota Chilliwack Service Department, especially if you’re a woman. They will gaslight you, treat you condescendingly, and perform unnecessary services without authorization. Thanks to my husband’s mechanical knowledge, the problem was finally fixed on his own time. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this service department at all costs.
From the moment I arrived at this dealership, I felt respected and valued by all the staff here. I had a calm experience, I did not feel any pressure. Alain in sales walked me through every step and explained thoroughly. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle I was purchasing. The team worked together and Alain came in on his day off to accommodate the time I was able to pick up my vehicle. I recommend this dealership
Excellent overall experience from the entire team!nnThe experience at the start that kept me at the Valley Toyota lot was Johnny. Johnny was very knowledgeable, patient, and made himself available for my many questions! Johnny was quick to offer solutions and options and really made the difference for me with my purchase. At no time did I feel pressured to buy something I wasn’t completely satisfied with. I felt his knowledge of the product was top notch! Johnny provided me the information I needed for all my options and really sold me on choosing Valley Toyota as the place to drive my new vehicle away from.nnOn the financing end Arsh was incredibly helpful, friendly and patient. Arsh explained everything very clearly leaving me feeling incredibly comfortable with what I was signing.nnThank you to the team at Valley for helping me through the process and decision making. Many moons ago I had a very different experience at Valley. My opinion and experience with Valley Toyota has done a 360 through my recent experience. Without Johnny there I may have gone elsewhere again, but he really sold me on Valley Toyota from the minute I had the pleasure of his assistance showing me what I came to look at in turn opening up my eyes to how well the team works together and how positive an experience there was to be had.nnJohnny needs a solid high 5!
While I did not purchase a vehicle from this dealership, I really wished I could have bought a Toyota from Johnny. He truly went above and beyond in providing me information on the vehicle I was interested in as I am not local to Chilliwack. After I had to let him know that we had decided to lease something from the local Toyota dealership he provided me with more videos and information than the salesman had given me here. You're very good at what you do, Johnny! All the best.
