I am literally the first person willing to tell you that the VA is useless. I used to process through the Atlanta VA and I don’t think I had a single positive experience dealing the my education benefits. This was my first time calling this office and my call was answered promptly, everyone was super enthusiastic and willing to help, and all my needs were attended to in a way I have never experienced dealing with any government agency. Now, that being said, I probably just got lucky today because we all know the VA is worthless most of the time. But I had a 5 star experience today so I feel compelled to give credit when/ where credit is due

If I could give them 0 stars I would. It's been over 3 weeks and they still have yet to process my enrollment. I'm happy that I don't use school benefits as a supplement to my income to make ends meet. It doesn't take that long to click a couple buttons. They are just lazy!!!

No one answers the phone. Almost impossible to make an appointment. Employees will not help out veterans get the benefits we have earned. I have a total lack of faith in the VA to do anything for us. It's all just more lip service from an ungrateful government and nation trying to save money at our expense. Seems to be a VA mandate to hold back as many benefits from veterans as possible.

I recently misplaced my certification letter for my GI bill. I tried calling this shithole 6 times, and it just rang, and disconnected. However, I found part of the letter that had other phone numbers. If you want anything done for your educational benefits, call this number to speak to someone. 1-888-442-4551. I didn't wait at all, and they are sending me a copy of my letter. If you want any more legit numbers, comment on my review. God bless, and thank you for your service.

Can anyone please explain how I can call 6 different times throughout the day and no one answers the phone? Also....how does it take a month to "mail" the benefits certification letter? Notice how mail is in quotes? That's because I never received it. This office is a joke. I have been in school for a month and a half, and they have yet to update anything in their system as far as me ever being enrolled. I can't even imagine how people with health related issues get anything taken care of when you are this careless with education benefits. Like.....my mind is blown
