Best local corner store in Vancouver. Fresh pastry, soups, bread and small meals everyday. Great coffee. Small patio to sit and eat at if you're just passing through. Friendliest staff.

Pickpockets are a problem at this shop. You should also plan to use any food you buy here IMMEDIATELY; it's one of those places that deals other retailers' cast-offs for cheap. That being said, it's cheap! Even though it's so inexpensive, the about-to-go-off quality and the ambience of suspicion and threat means my family never shops here.

One of those secret Vancouver places. Everything is right about it - the atmosphere, the surroundings when you sit outside, the food, the merchandise. THE place to buy bread and olive oil and enjoy a coffee and a snack while you're at it, listening to the old Portuguese ladies gossip about what happened at Church.

Super reasonable priced coffee and baked goods, gets very busy so you may not get a seat or table on a sunny day
