La Casa Gelato truly lives up to its reputation, offering an impressive selection of gelato with plenty of flavors to choose from. With over 200+ varieties available at any given time, it's overwhelming and note, the quality isn't that good. There’s better out there.nnOne interesting detail is the wall decorated with greetings translated into more than 40 languages. However, I noticed that Tagalog was not included, which stood out—especially since many Filipino customers were visiting during my time there.nnOverall, La Casa Gelato is worth a visit, but I suggest you not to expect more. Their wide range of flavors has been recognized by the Guinness World Records but that's it... nothing more.
The curiosity is to check all the ice creams and go through the doubt of choosing one. The thing is they don't taste good. We were in 4 ans tried at least 5 different flavors, all of them tasted like emulsifier, cheap taste. I believe it's for the attempt of trying to make ice cream of everything.
First time coming here, such a great experience to have. SO many flavors to pick from, it took a bit to decide. After you choose how many scoops you want and if you want a cone or bowl they hand you colored chips, neat idea, you pay before you pick.
Tried La Casa Gelato recently and went with the Salted Caramel and Green Tea Cheesecake flavors. The salted caramel was a bit disappointing — it tasted more like vanilla with barely any caramel or saltiness to it. The green tea cheesecake was better; it had little cheesecake chunks mixed in, which was a nice touch, but the flavor wasn’t really infused throughout the gelato — more like plain green tea with cheesecake pieces added in.nnThe shop itself has tons of options and is fun to visit, but I wish the flavors I tried had a stronger, more distinct taste.
As an American coming to Canada for the first time, my best friend brought me here and it is a total recommend…10/10 The staff was friendly and helped with the flavors. The look and taste is what brings you back… I ordered salted caramel and coffee, very much delicious. So many flavors it takes 10 minutes to decide :
