This place is amazing! So many wacky and awesome flavours to choose from and the owner was fun to chat with. I had a scoop of blue jolly rancher and caramel apple. They were both delicious! I will definitely be back to try more. If I lived in the area this would be my go to spot with friends for sweet treats!
One of the craziest ice cream place in here. So many flavors I'm overwhelmed. Picked the papaya raspberry sorbet and it was really good, I love papaya. They don't give out samples anymore but that's okay, still had a good ice cream. Very recommended for experience.
La Casa Gelato is an East Vancouver gem. A must visit for families, dates and travellers. This location has been here for decades and has so many flavors, ranging from classic to modern experimental. Ice cream cones, cups cakes and milk shakes available as you enter to the left and pay first. Notice sampling is not available at this time. Outside seating and a large free parking lot.
Stopped here last week after a recommendation from a coworker. It was wildly overwhelming with 238 flavours to choose from. There’s definitely an option or 4 for everyone. The art work is rad too! Def worth checking out
Unfortunately, they don't give out samples. You have to commit to an entire scoop to try a weird flavour. If you ask they might add a single sample spoon to your ice cream cone/bowl once you choose. They don't accept credit cards and they're pretty expensive for an ice cream place. There's no dine in seating - just a small bench area next to the parking lot.nnDespite all that, it's definitely a place I recommend everyone visit once. There's an astonishing number of flavours, from typical to the truly bizarre. Bacon and balsamic vinegar were among my favourite finds. There's a small section of sorbets but the best and weirdest flavours are dairy. I go when I have out of town guests, but I don't go for myself. It's expensive and the lack of samples makes the choice of flavour an unpleasantly high stakes experience. I wish they'd let you pay extra for a set number of samples.
