I have mixed feelings about the food here. Half our table 6 people liked it and the other halfincluding me not so much. Seafood is good- it’s fresh, but some of the dishes don’t have much flavor. Prime rib may be cooked one level under what you ask for, just fyi, and it was flavored almost like roast beef. Salad bar is a great bonus.
The service was great. Our waitress was super busy with a table of 20 and still made the time for us. The rest of the waiting staff was on top of things as well. The food was great. Although the steak isn’t at all how I expected it to be made, it was genuinely very delicious. The deserts were on point. Not to sweet, but not to plain. Just the perfect amount of sweetness for my tooth. The sauce for the coconut shrimp was phenomenal. It goes great with the shrimp. By far recommend this restaurant if you are trying to treat yourself or take a loved ones out to eat.
I don't usually start with the service but Jamie was one of the best waitresses I've encountered in almost any restaurant, she was multi-tasking the entire meal and didn't miss a beat with our service, so definitely sit in her section! Now the food...all ill say is the Alaskan King Crab was second to none,that goes for lobster and prime rib also, this place is amazing all the way around!
Special client dinner. We had escargot and halibut as appetizers. For the entre we had king Crab legs and the surf and turf option of Crab legs and prime rib. All was very good and the service was great. A must experience but make sure you can afford it.
We heard about their prime rib is the best and they have a great salad bar. Went there September 3rd they had sign that they are closed in the front door. So went back again on the 4th but they were still close with the same sign about power outage. I think you should call them to make sure they’re open before driving there.
Food is great. Service was awful. Great prime rib. Lobster was good. Our waitress started working on another table never returned. She was sitting drinking wine at another table not even caring about her customers. So unprofessional and for an adult waitress as well.
Had reservations for our anniversary when they lost power and we couldn't fulfill our reservation. We posted on their fb and the owner was so prompt and courteous for the situation. Fast forward to us finally making it out for our re-do anniversary dinner. We were seated so promptly and service was amazing. Every aspect of our meal and experience was 10/10. Beverages stayed full, salad bar was fresh, clean and had so many choices for toppings. Food was amazing. I ordered the shrimp, hubby the steak. Everything was cooked to perfection. We loved every second of our time here. The owner is amazing and very clearly cares about this place and the people they service. Would absolutely recommend dinner here and visit again. Thanks for an amazing Fairbanks night out!
Amazing place for Prime rib and lobster or crab. The meat was cooked perfectly and delicious. Must try, don't be fooled by the outside appearance.
Food was good. We ordered Alaskan crab as well as the combo Alaskan crab and prime rib. The crab tasted pretty good. It was much more meaty than crab I've had in the midwest and was easy to crack open. The prime rib had an interesting flavor. It wasn't bad but was kind of like pot roast juice and seasoning on top of a nice cut of meat. Not my favorite but I can see why people may like it. Service was ok but seems like we sometimes we were forgotten. We received our main food before asking about what the little packets were for. Then the waitress realized she forgot to bring out the bread. We also got the s'mores dessert. The price for the food came back higher than we expected be aware the crab is sold at market price - I didn't ask what the price was ahead of time. We had a ton of leftovers and could have easily split a meal. My wife and I are travelling from Colorado, and I think this will be a one time stop for us. Not bad but not something we need to experienced twice.
I had a fantastic time here. They were such a local place. You could tell that many many people return here over and over by how well the staff knew everyone’s name. They were celebrating the opening of their outdoor deck and were giving away free burgers and brats, not only that, but the waiters would tell people, which would most certainly cut into their tips. I had king crab, portobello fries amazing and prime beef. I liked it and it all came out good temperature and exactly how I ordered. If I’m ever in Fairbanks again I will def try again.
