Gallo's Mexican Restaurant

We happened to chose this restaurant because of other's reviews and were not disappointing. It was casual enough for our taste yet very well decorated inside to satisfy any preference in dress. It was initially fairly busy but we were there somewhat late and found ourselves to be the few that remained around closing time. That worked out well because I really wanted to get some pictures of the chairs and some inside photos. The food was excellent as well. :)

We walked into this restaurant not knowing what to expect as it was one of the only places nearby that was open on a Sunday. We were seated and our drink orders were taken, and we continued to sit and stare awkwardly without menus, chips, salsa, etc. Finally our server asked if we needed menus... We thought he meant as opposed to just drinks. We said yes, then noticed a hot bar in the adjacent dining area. Come to find out, there was a lunch buffet! We apologized to the server and partook of the buffet and the lovely margaritas that were muddled with jalapenos upon my request. I can say that Gallos was a delight to all of the senses, as you could smell the food before walking in, the colorful decor was a feast for the eyes, the food and drink was great, and even the chairs being textured were fun to touch. I only wish that there were some communication of the buffet, either from the host, the server, or on the table talker which described nearly all of their tequilas!

Great food great service. Usually 5 stars but there was a party that was being loud that ruined our experience

I love the inside because of their booths. Extra comfortable and the design of the inside of the restaurant was unique. The food was pretty good. I ordered the Chorizo Con Huevos, that dish by itself was pretty good. They also added a bar upstairs which sounded pretty live. I never got to go up but definitely worth a trip if you want to eat then turn up!!

The staff is reasonably good as is the food. The restaurant is not as clean as one would expect and the lighting is atrocious. For some reason they have installed bright white LED lights when they should have installed soft white LED lights and certainly should be ulilizing a dimmer for their evening meal service. The lighting is one star for sure..... Might as well have been fluorescent lighting. :/
