Vallata

Don't bother. My wife and I went to the Vallata for the first time in 15 years. The last time we were there we told the waiter our (eggplant) dinner was undercooked. He retreated to the kitchen and returned moments later and told us it was fine. We took it home and finished baking it. After our long hiatus we thought we should give them another chance. The food was mediocre, service poor and atmosphere as stale as the cigarette smoke soaked walls. I ordered a dinner salad that was the same size as my wife's side salad but with 4 tomatoes and double the carrot sticks. The hostess asked if that was all I was going to have. I told her I expected a dinner salad would be, well, dinner. Unless I feel the need to visit the same ripped carpet I tripped on 15 years ago, I am sure I will never go back. Spend your money at the drive-up Thai food place down the street. Much friendlier and better food.

Absolutely amazing. Great service, incredibly fair prices for the quality and Fairbanks area. Atmosphere is perfect, staff is knowledgeable and the food and drinks were excellent!

Beautiful place with friendly staff, amazing wine and incredible food! I wish we were local so we could become regulars! The food is also very reasonably priced. My wife and I enjoyed the atmosphere greatly!

The evening was amazing. From start to finish. The staff was very attentive. Food was flavorful.
