Trillium Health Partners Mississauga Hospital Emergency room

As I write my review, my wife is currently admitted because she currently has 5cm dilation. We went here around 10pm. After my wife told them she had some discharge with a little bit of blood, they gave her a room right away. Nurses and doctors that are on duty are really attentive. The place has a very friendly atmosphere. I do not know if we're just really lucky but I can't give this place less than 5 stars in my review. I would even give them 7 if I could. My only complaint is their private rooms are small but still tidy.

It’s a hit a miss here. I personally felt bad for the doctor, one doctor only taking care of several patients and two nurses. I was there for about 4 hours with an open wound which needed stitches. I didn’t care much about the wait time but more just how the hospital is being run. The one nurse I had was super nice as was my doctor but there was a nurse there who just wasn’t as pleasant, maybe she was just over tired, who knows. This hospital needs to focus on staffing more than they do to expanding. There was also a staff remember there getting checked out and her co-workers were with her while she was on shift and felt as though she was entitled to faster care because she was working while being seeing. I’m sorry but why are your staff working and being see at the same time and have other staff members there with her all talking in polish? Aren’t they supposed to be working…I thought this was for emergency?

I am very disappointed that 14 years ago this use to be my favorite hospital with amazing staff and caring doctors and 14 years later there is lack of care and empathy towards people. I made a call earlier to find out how a family friend of mine was as she wasn't responding to my calls after 6 days of her being in the hospital, but call after call they put me on wait for 35 min until I hang up. I wanted to find out how my friend was but they never cared to check on her and let me know. Very disappointed!!

I would give 10 stars for their dedication and service. My wife delivered a baby girl there. I must say the nurses are the best of the best in their job. They care so much about baby and Mother I can't even explain. I would highly recommend this hospital if someone wants their baby get delivered.

I've been here 5 times in the past 5 years and everytime I promise myself even if I'm on a dying bed, still I won't go any hospital as even if you are gonna survive by any chance they are kill you coz of the long hours wait on uncomfortably chairs.nMy wife is 14 weeks pregnant and she wasn't feeling well so had to bring her to the ER we arrive by 11:30 pm and the poor girl was having a lot of pain but all we did was to wait, we stayed in hospital till 5:30 am and were asked for an Ultrasound in the morning, We went home to had some rest and come back again. We couldn't sleep because they were supposed to call us which they did 10 am and were given 2:30pm for the appointment, it 5 pm now and we have wasted all this time in registrations on different counters. My wife is so frustrated and tired because of lack of sleep that she cried, and asking me again and again let's leave and never to return to this HELL again.nI would happily pay for the fee and see the doctor immediately rather than wasting two days for a pregnant woman to find what the issue is as we have no idea. I'm not sure why we are paying high taxes and pretend our health system is free? Canadian health system is a failure where in ER you have only one doctor but most of the time interns. The system is old school and they are shouting your names disturbing other patients. I am pretty sure this system has killed many patient we just don't know, we've lack of doctors and staff while people are flooding into these hospitals. I want to write more but disappointment has taken away all my energy as still waiting at this very moment and I'm sure we are not getting free in the next 3-4 hours just to collect my wife's report and talk to someone like what actually happened 24 hours ago
