TownePlace Suites by Marriott Thunder Bay

Stayed at TownePlace Suites Thunder Bay and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the kitchenette was well-equipped. The location is also super convenient with close proximately to grocery stores and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

The experience at Delta Mariott was exceptional, absolutely lovely location and the staff will do everything they can to help make one’s stay as comfortable.nGuest Services staff Zion Godfrey was amazingly helpful ….definitely the best person to contact for any last minute details or changes.nVery clean, Keurig and complementary water comfortable bed with lovely bedding!nnA choice location for conferences in Thunder Bay !

Best place to stay in Thunder Bay! Rooms are really spacious, kitchen is fully equipped! Staff is very friendly and welcoming!nnEverything is walkable, grocery, food, etc! Plus the swimming pool, hot tub, gym & spacious lounge for quick meetings!nnTo top it all, free breakfast!

We stayed in the suites and it was fantastic.nNice big room, super comfy bed, and all the amenities we needed. We especially appreciated being able to cook and relax in our room.nThe hotel was nice and clean, and the staff were amazing. I would definitely stay here again.

There were some issues at this hotel that resulted in a lower rating. When we checked into our room, there was no hand soap in the bathroom. We asked the front desk for soap and were told it was on backorder and they did not know when they would get some. We stayed for 5 nights and had to get our own soap. In 50 years of travel, I’ve never encountered this before at a hotel. Even the cheapest hotels had soap! Hard to believe that a company as large as Marriott couldn’t find a way to get soap to this hotel. There were no hangers in the room and we had to ask for some. We needed a kettle for the kitchen and had to ask for it. I wanted to connect my firetv stick to the TV and needed to contact their tech support vendor to complete the process. None of these were major issues but combined they left a negative impression of this hotel and the Marriott brand. On the positive side, the hotel staff were wonderful and did everything they could within their control to accommodate us. I blame hotel management and Marriott corporate management for these failures. The breakfast was very good with a nice variety that met all our needs.
