Comfort Inn

This place was great. They accept debit card for deposit on the room, NO need for a credit card. Breakfast is included which is convenient and saves you back a couple bucks. I needed a boost and the maintenance guy was out there helping me for over an hour and was genuinely concerned for our predicament, that was another cool save. Its located close to a variety of decent restaurants that are 5 to 10 minutes walking distance. The street on the corner is some sort of expressway that takes you practically anywhere in the city so when you get in, just make a beeline over to the comfort in and pay with your debit, no hassles just freindly service all around.

The worst customer service, not just from the guest services agent who are not empowered, but also from their central booking agents. Make sure your stay is 100% refundable as this property is not compassionate or understanding.nBooked a stay for one of our employees for the following day, within 5 minutes of completing the booking we had a change of plans, contacted the property immediately and asked for a cancellation or the possibility to book an alternate date, guest services agent refused and transfered me to their central agent who was not able to assist me and referred me to Expedia where it was originally booked. Expedia contacted the property on my behalfnand advocated for a refund. The property refused, kept the full amount even though services were not rendered. We have since had employees travel to Thunder on 4 more occasions and The Comfort Inn lost on that business and any future business.

Stayed there last week. Had to get a key replacement and the front desk gentleman with long curly hair yelled at me and then refused to give me a new card to the point the poor lady he was working with passed me a key after I stood there in awh.nRoom was clean but front desk gentleman needs some training on customer service.

Great location, excellent service and a decent breakfast. The room has a decent size, the controls for the heating system aren't the best, it's like on or off. The bed was a bit too soft. Everything else was great.

Disgusting. No smoking? The room reeks of tobacco smoke. There's a cigarette burn in the sofa upholstery. The sofa itself is filthy. We had to ask for extra towels because we were not going to sit on the sofa.nNo recognition of my diamond status at check-in, which seems to be par for the course at this chain. I might get acknowledged at 1 in 10 across the chain. I'm done with Choice Hotels. Switching to Hilton.
