Time Travelers Hotel

Owners are very nice and accommodating. Rooms are large but dated, bathroom was somewhat updated but needed paint. Beds were comfy, room was warm. For the price of 75 a night, reasonable.. Would stay there again.

It has been literally decades that I last stayed in this motel. Under new ownership, the motel is being upgraded into fine form. So much is new in the Upper Ottawa Valley, but I recognised this motel immediately. An establishment that is familiar. Rooms are very clean, smell great and new washroom items installed. There is a pool open during the season, working room air contitioning, free wifi, cable, mini-fridge and microwave in the rooms. The new private owner, a very hard working and very friendly individual, is making great strides in his constant upgrade of this motel, almost, at least to myself, an historical landmark in the Valley . If you prefer the small, privately owned motel concept over the large international chain hotels, then I highly recommend that you make your stay in the Ottawa Upper Valley at The Time Travellers Motel . Looks okay from outside, but it's not that great. Wifi is slow. Room is dirty and frozen. The room is a double bed and has a heater the size of a shoebox. The remote control I'm pretty sure has semen on it. That little heater has dust on it that was probably present when dinosaurs roamed the earth. But aside from being cold and dirty and dusty I guess it's okay. Especially if you're trying to get sick.
