Clarion Hotel & Conference Centre

Lori, the GM was very pleasant. She helped me with directions to my room, and also provided me with great local recommendations for where to get great clothing! My check in process was seamless, and my room was TOP NOTCH, each area of the room has amazing lighting, and the chaise In my room was very comfy. Bistro had a great selection of food, and the staff was very welcoming. I Will return again, but hopefully to relax instead of work. Kudos to this hotel staff. You can tell upon arrival that they care about their property and their guests. I had no issues from arrival until I left, but I feel confident that if I did, they would rectify it right away.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Centre, and it was a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed, which made me feel right at home.nnThe rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job, and it was clear they take pride in their work. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities provided were more than sufficient for a pleasant stay.nnThe hotel itself is well-located and offers a range of facilities that cater to both business and leisure travelers. The conference rooms were spacious and well-equipped, making it an ideal choice for business meetings.nnOverall, I highly recommend the Clarion Hotel & Conference Centre. It's a great place to stay with friendly staff, clean rooms, and excellent facilities. Whether you're in town for business or pleasure, this hotel is a fantastic choice.

The rooms were nice, the location was good. The service was unacceptable. I have never been anywhere where from the moment I checked in I felt unwelcome. If you are here with a hockey team expect to be treated like trash. Want a place to gather as a team? They will not accommodate this. Want to meet in the lobby before you leave ? You may overhear rude staff members making comments wondering why you are all “standing around”. I am sure not every team is well behaved but we were certainly not deserving of this treatment. My daughter was sitting at a table outside the pool and was reminded that she couldn’t eat by the pool. There is even a sign behind the desk saying not to provide cots and cribs to people calling to book for hockey tournaments. DO NOT STAY HERE WITH YOUR TEAM.nToo bad because the pool is nice.nThe picture getting knocked off the wall was an honest mistake and it wasn’t broken. The team was gathered in the lobby waiting to leave when one staff member made a nasty comment we were not blocking anyone. Despite claiming no outside food allowed you let another group have outside food in that area. The front desk staff also told me to go ahead and speak to the manager because she feels the same way I do about hockey teams. After the first night and clearly indicating the issues I don’t believe there were any further issues. Clear communication and respectful communication off the bat would have gone a long way

I first made a third-party booking so it's not 100% their fault potentially 2 years ago. They took the booking, but when I showed up, they had no rooms. On top of that, they showed me one room with lots of water damage- severe health and safety issues. I didn't take the room, and they recanted as soon as they showed me. They also wasted nearly an hour of my time with this whole issue. On top of that, the pool wasn't open. I left and went elsewhere.nnI gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried again nearly a year later when they were not busy. Again, no pool is offered during the stay - if the pool is always broken, stop offering it as available. I was too exhausted to argue that evening and went to bed. There were no elevators, they were not busy yet they put me in a room without any outside view on an upper floor long ways down a corridor, there were loud mechanical noises throughout the hotel, and there was a low-quality room.nnI was very pleasant and understanding at the time, but people have to know that this hotel isn't good. I highly recommend going elsewhere and paying more if necessary.

What an amazing hotel to stay. I arrived at the hotel after a 10 hour drive and was met by a courteous front desk agent. Once I got to my room, I was shocked at how clean and welcoming it was. The Steak Frits was one of the best I have ever had. If you are in Pembroke, definitely check out Bistro 900!
