I stayed in this motel for 6 weeks, My experience was really amazing, Room was really neat & clean. Outside view is really amazing as well. Thank you for making my stay memorable with your great service.Rooms: 5/5

My extended stay at the Hillside Motel was very relaxing and very comfortable.The outside atmosphere is very enjoyable with BBQ on site.The owners are very friendly and will do anything for you. Perfect little getaway spot. Close to everything.Rooms: 5/5

Been staying here for awhile at hillside great atmosphere great location Harry the owner goes above and beyond to help if something is wrong the rooms are very nice and kept clean all rooms are all redone will not go anywhere else but here thanksRooms: 5/5

Good place for an overnight. Remarkably quiet given its convenient location. Good heat and hot water, good shower. Clean. My only slight criticism is the perfume smell of the cleaning product. Also the floor was visibly clean but it should have been mopped, this was only only evident after the bath mat is used.

The building was beautifully maintained and very clean. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We were moving from Kingston to Pembroke and due to some hiccups did not arrive till 1145 at night. Someone was still awake and waiting for us and got us into our room very quickly. We can’t say enough good things about this place. Clean rooms and showers, kind hosts, comfortable beds and pillows, conveniently located around some of the best pubs and eateries, and to top it all off, affordable! Will be staying here anytime I’m in the area.Rooms: 5/5

Paid $140 for room, money immediately came out of account. Staff claimed the transaction was declined despite my bank statement saying that it cleared. Staff gave us the room but continued to harass us throughout our stay demanding additional money from us. Staff barged in our room at 9:00 am 2 hours before checkout as if they were trying to catch us doing something wrong. Major invasion of privacy! Staff provided manual bill of sale stating that the bill was paid and all was fine.. Upon explaining this to the staff who barged in they ripped the receipt out of my hand insisting the receipt they provided was invalid. We confronted the manager at checkout who screamed at my wife and I demanding additional money again. I handed the room keys back to them and we told them to have a splendid day. The view from the balcony was nice, however the constant harassment from staff ruined my whole experience. I've stayed in my fair share of hotels and the truth is this was by far the worst one we ever had the displeasure of staying in. Rude management and staff combined with constant attempts to scam us left and right left a very bad taste in my mouth. If your looking for a relaxing place to stay in Madison steer clear from this place. You can get a lot more for your money and better customer service literally anywhere else.

This is the second time my sister and I have stayed, they are always kind and courteous regarding our late check in, rooms are very clean and beautiful. We stayed this past weekend while a nasty storm hit Ontario and they came by to bring us candles and checked to make sure we were good .. I’ll definitely stay here again and recommend Hillside Inn

stayed with my family here for an extended stay, as building of our home got delayed. Harry and his family are very welcoming amd lovely and made ours and our children's stay very comfortable. the rooms are nice and clean & newly renovated. I must say we have always deterred away from motels as our past experiences weren't the best. this place definitely doesn't fall under "motel" expectations. Harry does an excellent job to keep any "riff raff" away to make sure all his customers have the best experience possible. if you're looking for an affordable quiet stay this is the place to go. might I add the location is perfect central location close to any amenities you may possibly need.
