I love, love, love this place, and I really want to give it at LEAST 4 Stars, but alas I just cannot morally do so. This place could and SHOULD be one of the coolest and best places in the United States. It's so outdated and under-whelming in every regard. The State needs to pump a ton of money and resources into making this place as awesome as it should be for future generations to come.

The Timberline Lodge is an amazing work of architecture from the New Deal. The wood work is incredible and I love details in the construction. The rooms are pretty small, but that's not why you stay. During the summer, you have access to beautiful trails, my last visit was to hike along the Timberline trail (a multiple day backpack trip). In the winter, it's all about the skiing. I prefer the hiking, but it is nice to enjoy the fire places when it's cold out. Timberline Lodge is a great stop for anyone touring Oregon.

What can you say. The views are incredible. There are lots of people but there's also lots of space. Magic Mile lift ticket could be less expensive. $15 seems a but much for one ride up and down. And the bar prices are incredibly high. So I just come here for the views, photos and hiking. It deserves five stars.

Very welcoming, wonderful nice staff & guests. Clean, expensive and sometimes deals from online not on the weekends. Theres room service, laundry, elevators, dogs are allowed, restaurants inside but do not recommend too expensive and tasteless for me. The nearest inexpensive restaurants are 13miles away from the lodge. They have their own gift shop also expensive one inside building and outside. A hike up to the mountain, a ski lift. Queen rooms have a twin bed also inside. Queen & king rooms have their own bathroom, feather blankets, are bigger rooms than the bunk bed rooms. Bunk beds do not have feather blankets nor other features. They have a sauna, hot tub, huge 10.6inch pool with a basketball hoop over it to play water basketball. Fireplaces everywhere, game room with every game in it except a pool table. No TV in bunk beds. Yes TV in queen and king. Maintenance and maid service is fast and wonderful. Complimentary washer&dryer tokens and laundry soap.

The lodge itself is beautiful, and the view of the mountain is breathtaking!! I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful view. The staff was always very helpful and friendly. In my option, the food is a little overpriced. For one dinner I had the steak and while it was good I personally prefer Outback and the price was over double. At the time of my stay it was "maintenance" season which means that they were doing a lot of work on the place, which is fine but on our relaxation day, having to hear a jackhammer for nine hours while they were working on the hottub took it's toll which tool down the rating. There is no air conditioning here at the lodge, which I believe they openly tell you, however it seemed like we could not turn off the heat and if you close the windows the room gets VERY HOT which means you have to sleep with the windows open and there are no screens. This issue was actually one of the biggest for our stay, as even my wife was uncomfortable with the heat. Note, that the walls are extremely thin and you can hear quite a bit of noise from people walking on the stairs, to the cleaning crew cleaning adjacent rooms and people walking in the hall. The lodge attempts to accommodate by providing ear plugs and establishing a quite time in the lodge.
