Days Inn Clackamas/Portland

Was there night before surgery which is why I picked it. Very convenient, clean, quiet. Since I was having surgery I did not try the breakfast so no comments on that. The staff was friendly and efficient. Only issue I had No where in the process of registration was it said that they only take "chip" cards for payment! That's important info! I would stay again.

low rate and old! The carpet, floors and ceilings were disgusting. The bathroom was tiny, the door would not close, the bathtub would not drain, the toilet seat was broken, the curtains were old, ugly and dirty. Had to walk everywhere to find the lobby to check in. The towels were old and scratchy, the pillows were old and little. The bathroom only had 1 tiny towel in a 2 queen bed room. Only 1 small trash can in the bathroom, no ice bucket and the remote was broken. The TV was small and had a bad picture, no TV guide and no guide to restaurants. Beds were good and it was fairly quiet, but that's about all I can say for the place. Low budget hotel!!!! Never again!

HORRIBLE. Turn back now!!!! My dad is in the hospital with cancer and Alzheimer's, so we chose to stay here out of convenience. We got there and fell into bed asleep. When we woke up and went to make the beds, we found dirty socks in the bedsheets that didn't belong to us. Disgusting. We felt so disgusted we went to get in the shower, just to find the shower hadn't been cleaned either... there were hairs and things on the shower walls. Too disgusted for words. We found a pair of glasses on the nightstand as well, so we wonder if they did anything more than remake the beds. Horrible experience and ticked off we paid money for this place when my dad is sick and we need the money for other things. Turn back while you can. I'd sleep in my car before ever returning to this hotel hell.

Checking in not so great. Trainee was abrasive. Surprise deposit. Got in discussion with desk clerk on if deposit policy on their web site, it is not. Surprise construction, hard location to find in dark let alone a spray painted sign for lobby. I have stayed at many Days Inns, this one not user friendly. My company chooses the rooms for their 200 traveling employees based on certain information on the business website. Security deposits are old news. Won't be using this one again.

If I could give no star I would! I came in to town last night with reservations for a two queen bed room and a one queen bed room. I drove from Boise, Idaho which was a 7 hr drive. I arrived a little later around 1145pm. Talked to the receptionist and said sorry we dont have your reservation listed and we don't have any rooms available. This is the worst news possible being so late. So I said okay.. tried to call all the hotels around me and all were SOLD OUT! So my car full of family and tiredness forced us to pretty much be homeless for the night! We all slept in our car. This ruined our plans for the following day. We ended up sleeping a couple hrs and took off back to Boise. This was the worst case scenario possible that happened to us. If your thinking of staying here think twice. Plus the hotel pictures online make it look nicer than it really was. It's a lot more rundown.
