4-stars because I enjoyed my stay when it wasn't under construction. 1 star off for the owner's attitude in responding to complaints about the construction. If you're going to compare yourself to some hotel by the interstate, do a full comparison. You have the advantage of location. They have the advantage of not waking their guests with construction on a Saturday morning. Prices should reflect both, not just one factor and you shouldn't talk down to people for pointing out the obvious. Can you pretty much do and charge whatever you want because there are few other options for people? Sure. Does that make you worthy of criticism? Absolutely.

Very reasonable, quiet place to stay. Even though being remodeled, this motel was a comfortable stay. It's very conveniently located for hiking and has a lovely brewpub right next door (we loved their darker beers!). Bedding and linens were excellent and our room was immaculate. I thoroughly recommend this place.

The hotel was very conveniently located near Timberline and SkiBowl. The amenities were excellent and the rooms very comfortable. The queen bed mattresses were in good shape and allowed for a great night's rest!

Room was very clean and crisp..very comphy bed and pillows. Overall a very pleasant stay...would recommend anyone anytime to stay here. Staffs were very nice.

Best Western Mt. Hood was great. The rooms were very clean and comfortable! I forgot a makeup bag when checking out, and they were very quick to call me and shipped it out the same day.
