Hampton Inn Portland/Clackamas

Nothing much has changed since our last visit... and in this case it is a good thing! From the reservations to the checkout process.... everything went very smoothly. It was once again the best Hilton chain price in the area and the location is very convenient for the mall and nearby restaurants. Great customer service, Great location, and a great nights sleep. There is still 24 hour warm coffee, tea, and cocoa in the lobby, fresh cookies at checkin, and free breakfast in the morning. Breakfast isn't great, but it did have hot and cold food items so everyone should be able to find something for their taste. We were in room 304 and found it a good quiet room. The bathrooms are very small so if you are a family or need a big bathroom, do be forewarned. Overall it is a great place for a one night stay!

The portion of the hotel that was not under construction was fashionably decorated. The day staff was fabulous, the spa that was available was very spacious, as well as open till midnight which was fantastic. The complementary bathroom amenities were a pleasant surprise. The sink counter space was on the minimalistic side. Lastly, the closets were too small and difficult to see behind the curtains next to the windows.

I stayed five nights, and the staff was very accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I wouldn't rate five stars simply because one night I had to ask a few times to get the cot I requested, and it wasn't apparently busy that night.

Very clean!! Nice staff and great cleaning people. Breakfast was delicious loved the lay out with work out gym and hot tub. Will gladly stay there again and I highly recommend it.

This is one of the worst Hampton Inns we have stayed in!!! It is also the most expensive of all our lodging since we left Minnesota. The place is dirty and it has nothing to do with the construction outside. It is also supposed to be a non smoking hotel and the hallway outside our room smls cigarette smoke very bad. Told The gal at the front desk ...I would never recommend this place to anyone.
