Service has always been top tier at this location. Friendly staff, and clean location. Any food and drinks I've gotten from here, I have had no complaints. Busy drive through, but fast service.
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received today at your Tim Hortons location at 751 Don Mills Road, Toronto, Ontario. At approximately 07:45 hrs, I ordered a steeped tea with 6 milk, 2 sugar, and a chai bag. I specifically requested that the milk be steamed, only to be told by the staff that they were unable to accommodate this request.nnThe staff member informed me that the manager, Allan, had given instructions not to steam the milk, and that this was a policy that the store follows. I find this very confusing, as I frequently visit multiple Tim Hortons locations across the Greater Toronto Area, and I have never faced such a refusal at any other store. Each time, my request for steamed milk was readily accepted without issue.nnWhen I asked to speak with Allan, the assistant manager on duty, I was further disappointed by his unprofessional behavior. Allan was not wearing a name tag, and when I asked if the decision not to steam the milk was a personal choice or a store policy, he simply stated, “I don’t do it here.” There was no apology or attempt to offer alternatives. His dismissive attitude left me frustrated and disheartened, especially considering his position as a manager.nnThis incident has raised serious concerns about the consistency of service across Tim Hortons locations and the attitude of staff members. I would appreciate clarification on whether each store operates independently or if there is a set of standard operational procedures that all locations should adhere to.nnFurthermore, after leaving the store, I decided to review the location on Google and was shocked by the negative ratings and reviews that others have shared regarding the service. It seems that the management team is not taking the necessary steps to address the feedback from customers.nnI hope you will take my complaint seriously and investigate this matter further. It is disappointing that a company of Tim Hortons’ reputation would allow such unprofessional behavior and inconsistency in service to continue. I look forward to your response and to learning what steps will be taken to ensure this does not happen again.
I’ve been a loyal customer at this Tim Hortons since they first opened a very long time ago. But over the past few years, the experience has really gone downhill. The employees are often rude, and they frequently mess up orders. They rarely engage in a positive way and seem robotic. They are often slow with processing orders and rarely available at the front. It’s also frustrating that they close earlier than they’re supposed to. As someone who’s worked in fast food, I know that’s not how it’s supposed to be. The manager is no better, coming across as lazy and rude, even cursing at customers. It’s disappointing. Their iced capp also gave me heart burn and many stomach aches. I’m not even lactose intolerant and I never drink coffee it’s always quenchers for me.
I’ve been a customer of this Tim Hortons location for years, even overlooking issues like when they mess up my iced coffee order; asking for extra sugar and still getting a very bitter drink that I have to ask to be remade. Or since I’m lactose intolerant, when I ask for oat milk and they put regular milk. Despite these frustrations, I’ve never taken the time to write a bad review until now.nnLast night, the dine-in area was closed 20 minutes early, which is completely unacceptable and against policy. When my friend and I brought this up, the staff was incredibly rude, and to make matters worse, the manager started cursing at us when I mentioned I’d write a review. This level of disrespect was shocking.nnThe entire experience was horrible, and it’s a shame to see how poorly this location is now being run. It’s sad that after years of being a customer, this experience has left me utterly disappointed.nnUpdate: I visited Tim Hortons a few days ago and ordered one large and one extra-large French Vanilla, and they were terrible. Both drinks were watery, tasteless, and completely lacked the rich, sweet, and smooth flavor I was expecting. Definitely a 0/10. On top of that, I used a Tim Hortons survey coupon for a $1 French Vanilla, but when they scanned it, it didn’t work. The coupon was active with 9 days left, so I can only assume they’ve blocked coupons in-store to make customers pay more.
If I had the time to avoid this Tim Hortons and go literally anywhere else I would. I’ve never had a place consistently give me the wrong order as much as this place. Ordered regular cream cheese on my bagel and I have herb and garlic today. Ordered an extra large steeped tea with milk and sugar and there’s cream in it instead of milk. This year we I’ve ordered steeped tea and there’s been coffee in it, like they topped up the cup with the wrong pot three times!!!!! Every time I’ve told the staff the following day they’ve laughed it off. I’ve Ordered coffees in other days and they’ll add cream instead of milk. It’s 50/50 if my bagel will be cut in half. Maybe they need a new intercom system because staff can’t be this incompetent.
