Great food and friendly staff! Portions are pretty big and filling especially considering the price. FYI this store is half restaurant half grocery store with a half wall separating them but the setting was decent all things considered.
Nice little #halal restaurant. They have an interesting menu, with items ranging from biryani and shawarma to samosa chaat and Tikka etc. We tried the Tikka, biryani, the chicken Tikka roll, samosa chaat and the masala fries. Everything was amazing especially the chicken Tikka roll abd the samosa chaat. The masala fries were a surprise. Instead of the usual French fries with masala , these had onions, gravy and condiments etc. Sort of like a poutine. The food is slightly spicy so you might want to ask the staff to change the spice levels to mild to suit your taste. Overall, a nice little find in Barrie. 4 stars because the high chair was broken and the tables weren't clean. The staff immediately cleaned them upon request. I will surely visit again.
We had the chicken briyani which was good but it's not fresh at all. You can notice it was made a while ago or had been sitting out. My wife and I liked the taste so we are giving it 3 stars but I don't understand how it's $11.29 for just 1 box of "chicken" briyani. This isn't veal briyani or some expensive place in Toronto. This should max $7-8.
Food is great!!! Great to give a try Ask for less spicy if you are not used to curry . Giving the 3 star bc the store beside when i check out is not the price i see they labled
The first time I went to this place and I was amazed they have pretty good stuff for a good price. I got herbal syrups esencial oil body oil for 3.99 each and I think 4.99 for a liver detox syrup to get clear skin and better healthFood: 5/5
This place is horrible! If there was negative points, that's what I would give. I decided to try this place because the one I usually go to only opens in afternoon. I ordered chicken Korma, one meat kebab and one chicken kebab. The korma consisted of a few small pieces of chicken, with bone and cartilage floating in a LOT of oil I tried to separate the meat from the bone and was left with a miserable amount of chicken meat with tons of tiny bones. Major choking hazard. My special needs son was unable to eat it, as it had too many small bone fragments. The kebabs probably had flour or something starchy because it had a strange condistency and super spicy I asked for everything to be very mild. Major disappointment. If I lived close I would go back and ask for a refund
I have been eating at this place for a few years now. Their food quality is top notch and has been consistent, but serivce has seen better days. There was a mix up during the phone ordering process and they prepared Chicken Tikka Masala instead of Chicken Tikka bowl. However, they offered to fix the order, but I was in a rush and just just went with it. To my surprise, it turned out to be really good, and I really enjoyed this dish. It is something I had not tried before. The gravy was thick and tasty, with a decent amount of chicken. If you are not used to spicy food, I would suggest you stay away from this one. It's wasn't very spicy but it's no Butter Chicken.
I had the Tikka Wrap. I loved it! It was very tasty and filling. There was a great mix of spiciness from the spices on the chicken and sweetness from the sauce. Texture was nice as well. Some chewiness from the Naan, the chicken was tender and the veggies were fresh and crunchy. Service was fast and friendly.Food: 5/5
I'm so happy this place finally opened in Barrie. One stop for all Pakistani and Indian groceries and also amazing food served at the restaurant inside. They've got fresh meats and produce as well. Very clean and well maintained. Definitely would recommend.
A long scenic drive, 4 very hungry people, delicious food and a gracious host. I can’t think of a more perfect day. We drove down aaaaaallll the way to Barrie, to try out the food @tikkafusion halal We were not disappointed by the food, and bowled over by the gracious host and owner Hassan. It’s homestyle food that’s flavourful and neither mediocre nor pretentious. A lot of times we have turned up hungry at a place and had a disappointing experience . This was not! We tried out their kababs, wrap, korma and biryani. The korma was sooo tender that the meat just melted in ones mouth. The amazing mural with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Drake is a jugalbandi that would be a musical dream come true!! It is the work of this incredible artist @getzenteemental The place was clean, the staff friendly, generous portions and yumm! I wish Mohammed Hassan and his crew great success .
