Tandoori Tonight

Here is my experience: Service: The staff and employees were very nice and friendly. The server who took my order was very good at explaining and suggesting menu items. Quality: All the food portions were generous. The tandoori chicken came with 6 pcs. My only concern is the curry and the veggie dish was not very flavourful, we experienced the tandoori chicken to be slightly blend. This restaurant has some potential to revisit their menu to be sure its spices are at the appropriate level. Cleanliness: The facility looked okay, a little outdated dining area. This restaurant is “okay” . I would try again as it has potential.

A little spot with big flavour and really kind customer service. First time here and we unknowingly came a little late for the kitchen. We were encouraged to go a head and order anyways. We ordered as fast as we could. One bite into the butter chicken and rice. We were in love. I practically drank it. We also ordered wine and we're gifted a serving if garlic naan bread that really just finished off an incredible meal. This is a spot I'll be coming back to over and over.

This restaurant is okay on the rating scale. There are good and bad things that we noticed. We did dine in as were travelling back to GTA and did a pit stop here Cons: 1. The parking is not great as there is garbage dump next to parking and the smell the moment you get down from your car is very strong and filthy. The smell continues until the stairs of the restaurant which also has a small open trash can right at the footsteps. 2. Even though the restaurant was quite empty but for the food to arrive it takes 45 mins. 3. We ordered our food including Dal Makhni and 20 mins later we were told they are out Dal Makhni, if you don't have, it shouldn't take 20 mins to tell the customer that you don't have a dish Pros: 1. Our server was nice and polite and she made every effort to make us feel comfortable and listened to our requests 2. The food was also good, even though we weren't very hungry but we still liked the food and everything was cooked to perfection. We ordered Naan, Lacha parantha, paneer tikka masala and Allu gobhi The parantha were really good size. I would recommend this restaurant for take out as the food is good and price wise it's on mid range.

Decided to order some takeout from this restaurant as I heard they just added some hakka dishes to their menu..the chili chicken was a huge disappointment! It was more like sweet and sour chicken that you would get from a Chinese restaurant at a food court. Also I have never had hakka chili chicken that was topped with sesame seeds. The house fried rice was a little better. Good flavour. I did ask for spicy though and that it was not. Having eaten hakka food for over 30 years in Scarborough, Mississauga and Brampton, I can tell you this is by far the worst "so called hakka food " I have had..They need to stick to their regular Indian menu and what they do best. Also very overpriced.

most of the time i order dosa from here but this time i received this over burnt dosa and when tasted it taste very bad and bitter my order was 2masala dosa not only one both of them are overburnt. I got stomach ache after eating it. I will never prefer to order from here again.

Not sure why this place is only a 3.7. food was beautifully presented and delicious, naan were soft and fresh, and dessert was top tier. 5/5 this Brampton boy will be back.

To be honest ,I tried from many restaurants to get the authentic taste and flavour of tandoori chicken which is one of my most favorites. I was disappointed with other restaurants in barrie and finally I got the real taste from tandoori tonight. It was yumm .... also tried mango Lassi as a drink and that was also another fav from this restaurant. The staff and the hospitality was upto the peak level more than I expected. For a night dinner I would recommend tandoori tonight...

A very authentic North Indian dishes restaurant in Barrie. It’s dishes are very tasty delicious and fresh. The order is served in time promised and the packing is superb. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The menu is of six pages and one can order any dish which will be prepared and served individually. The concept of already ready is not there. Best authentic Indian food.. great service and really nice atmosphere if small families. Tried there lots of dishes all of them were amazing and yum.

Overall pretty good experience. The prices were reasonable for Barrie, decent sized portions and pretty good flavours. The Korma sauce was very flavorful but a tad watery. The service was good, very friendly and polite.
