Thinker Toys is a favorite Portland business for our family. The selection of toys is carefully curated to offer ultimate fun with a lot of learning and curiosity too! Our kids love to go and browse the store and there's really something for everyone. The staff is so warm and caring. They relished it when my 8-year-old brought in his own money to pay for a toy and painstakingly counted out the change. They wrap our gifts beautifully and they make toy shopping a magical experience!

Amazing toy store for all ages and interests! My 2 1/2 yo son found things in every area of the store he wanted to play with. We found an awesome gift for a 4 yo neighbor girl and the staff gift wrapped it beautifully for us. There were kids and teens in the store while we were there and everyone found something they wanted to play with. Excellent selection and well organized. The only challenge was picking just one thing! Parking street only was a little frustrating, but manageable when we were there; it certainly won't stop us from going back again!

Great selection of quality, won't-find-the-same-stuff-at-Target, kids toys, games, books, and gifts. Very friendly and helpful staff. Free gift-wrapping. Customer loyalty punch card. Always my first stop for kids toys. I like it here, because I can feel good about shopping local without sacrifice.
Thinker Toys is a charming little toy store, situated along a block that has plenty of curiosity shops, coffee and snack shops, or cool places to have lunch. It has a large variety of toys, games, or puzzles and kiddo projects. Something for almost anyone in the younger age group. The employees were very friendly. The only improvement they really should make, involves the "think" part of thinker toys. The puzzles there were mostly board puzzle type, leaving a huge gap for real puzzles - metal and wood types. Adding these would really enhance what they can offer, especially for puzzle hunters.
Excellent toy store, the best in the metro area for sure. The employees are SO nice, feels like a family. A+ Highly Recommend!
We absolutely love this toy store! The staff are so kind and helpful. They have something for everyone, and every age. I definitely recommend you shop here. And you are supporting a local business!
