Sometimes amazing, sometimes average. For example the chicken strips were great the poutine was cold with bad frys not fresh? i didn't finish them and this was my only meal of the day. And for 18$ without tip I expect better . That said I normally order pulled pork sandwich and it delicious but I also had the worst soup I've ever eaten here..... But the chicken wings are great. So honestly since it's rather expensive and wether you get good food a toss up they get 3 stars.
This was the first time being here. I went for a comedy show and the choices of menu items food were limited. Keep in mind this is during covid so the kitchen may have been closed. Staff are super friendly and the event was fun. The environment was nice and clean and I hope to return soon. Cheers!
As the campus pub for the University of Northern British Columbia, this is the place to be. Whether you're a student, faculty, staff, or just a member of the surrounding community, the Thirsty Moose offers a relaxed, friendly atmosphere with good food at a good price. The drinks are good too with a decent selection of beers and cocktails. It's possible to enjoy the daily special and have a great meal at a decent price and try something new off menu. Which just adds to the justification that you've spent the last year of your undergrad in the pub.
Amazing little place. Great atmosphere, wonderful service
The prices can't be beat, the decor is pretty bland the service is good and the food punches above its price tag. I was there for a trivia night and it was a fun time definitely recommend it a good place to kill some time with friends.
Amazing ambiance, great service and reasonable prices. The house drafts are well made and taste great for the price. A staple to UNBC and a wonderful addition to Prince George.
One of The best place's in Prince George, options for vegetarians and vegans/ I'm sorry I forgot to mention that if you want anything made to be vegan you might have to ask the chef, I forget his name right now but I'll look into it, cheers
Excellent menu and great variety of affordable craft beers on tap. Hidden gem of unbc, esp on karaoke nights.
Its only open on weekdays and they run out of food easily. Also I've never had my order right. But it tasted decent.
Favorite place to go during the school year. Changed their menu so nothing over 16$
