"Our little take out restaurant is a gem among all the fast food places in Prince George. Privately and locally owned we strive to make the best possible food from the freshest possible ingredients, none of our soups are pre-bagged or processed by some facility in some secret location. All of our soups are made with the freshest ingredients, the most flavourful in-house made broths, and the love from our kitchen staff! Awwwww, thats sweet, isn't it!! But true!!. Everything at The Salted Cracker is cooked or prepared to order.We have our standard offerings of freshly grilled cheese sandwiches on the menu plus 4 everyday soups and 4 more soups that are rotated daily."

So. Good! We got their chicken noodle soup and their broccoli cheddar. Both were so flavorful, hearty and fresh! I loved their crackers! The crackers were good dipping and crumbling in the soup. They held some crunch still after sitting in the soup for a short while. We also shared a sandwich which was so good! Customer service was excellent! Very very friendly! Food served to us at the tables and both front staff and kitchen staff followed up with us on our experience when we were done. I will be returning here again! :
Based on reviews was hoping for something amazing but it was just okay. Got the broccoli cheddar soup and the jalapeno popper sandwich. Soup was good, very hot so had to let it cool. Sandwich was tasty but not particularly memorable. Everything is served on disposable dishes even thou you can eat in, creating a lot of unnecessary waste. This has become a big issue for me but if it's not a problem for you then I think you'll be happy here
Great soups, sandwiches and wraps and a fairly great location make this a go to lunch option. Friendly professional staff help ensure a quick and pleasant experience.
My daughter was kind enough to pick me up a chicken noodle soup because I am home sick today and bought herself a sandwich. Not to mention that for a simple bowl of soup it was way overpriced at $8.50 but her sandwich was made with mouldy bread that cost $8.75
Service was friendly and fast. Food was alright. Nothing memorable, certainly not worth their high price. There are better priced local restaurants for the amount of food you get. I got the jalapeno popper sandwich and a medium dill pickle soup which costed me around $19. A reasonable price I would be willing to pay in the future would be around $15. The bread was delicious. The sandwich toppings were unevenly distributed and the cheese was not fully melted. For the high price I would have preferred a little bit more meat in the sandwhich as well.
Was recommended by a local as the best place in town for lunch and was glad we listened! Amazing homemade choices for soup & sandwiches! Great pricing, quality and service! Definitely recommend and will be back! Thank you!
The food is way too over priced for how it’s made, as my girlfriend was previously employed at this establishment and will tell you the soup is not made fresh in the restaurant they are in fact thrown into boiling water in a bag! They also make all allergy free-food on the same dirty grill they make everything else on. Not to mention that the grill they make all the food on isn’t cleaned regularly either.. would just like everyone to know what they are paying for.. The owner was also very passive aggressive as I’ve seen and heard from other comments. Hate to say it but they’re really not how they make themselves out to be
An amazing local restaurant! I really hope to see this place open more stores across British Columbia as its a great place to have a good, healthy lunch at a reasonable price. Their best items are the wraps and sandwich's by far. They use fresh, mouth watering ingredients in all of their items and its all carefully put together. The customer service is also excellent as well. Best place to grab a quick lunch in town
Love this quaint little restaurant. Always have something new to try along with their daily soups like cream of broccoli and chowders you can always count on to be there just in case the specials aren't what you're looking for. The sandwiches and wraps are also amazing if soups just not enough to fill you up the sandwiches will definitely put you over the top. Fresh home-made comfort food just when you need it. Always good
Food is good but not worth the super high price. And now you want the crackers that they are know for coming with soups, you have to pay extra.
