The Thirsty Loon

Came in here on what was supposed to be an east end "dirt bar" crawl last Saturday. This isn't a dirt bar - which, for most people, is a good thing. It was clean, the beer was cold, and the food was good. And the bartender didn't get her name - sorry! was attentive, talkative, and pretty good lookin' for not being in her 20's anymore. Would totally go back.

Ordered wings for delivery . Definitely federal quality ,6-8 per pound and they give 7 so that’s commendable. Light flour dusting makes them nice and crispy . Not pooled in sauce so care is given . Comes with totally fresh carrot and celery sticks and fries which are obviously cut in house or are Qualifresh so outstanding . So so rare to get all these pluses in a simple wing order but this is the place that knocks it out of the park .

Now da Toronto man’s normally rates the nicest toughest bars in da six ya feel dawg? But Nyeah man’s cooked with this hidden gen. Service was locked down like the hatch on a Mandems boatassss. Server was bare chilling and they served the man a dish favourable for a king. Reach this place if ur tryna run a battry on some wings Food: 4/5

Ordered wings online. A really nicely priced 2 for 1 special. Reviews said they were so delicious. Maybe it was just my bad luck this time. The wings had hardly any sauce at all on the one order and the second one was plain. Extremely dry and bland. Disappointed.

Ordered from them, when I ordered the sauce on the side I expected the same amount as if it came on the wings. Definitely not the case. I had enough sauce for a wing and a half? Throwing out the rest of the dry, bland wings was such a waste. But they were inedible without anything on them. Also the fries were soggy and over salted.

Great portions, quality and price! A lot of delicious vegetarian options. First time had the quesadilla, second time the mac and cheese. Waitress is super nice! Vegetarian options: Many options available!

I had the Thai Green Curry Bowl about a week ago. A huge portion, full of super fresh vegetables and lots of tofu chunks in a very tasty coconut curry sauce. To much for me to eat in one sitting. I had a full meal with the leftovers the next day. Great value!

Amazing new addition to the East Gerrard area! They have the best Blue Cheese burger, and my friend loved the butter chicken there. They also have a good amount of draft beers which was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely be back soon!
