Story

The Wren is a cozy neighbourhood pub that serves up scratch made, southern and southwestern twisted comfort food, as well as local craft beer. We have 12 draught taps focused on Ontario microbreweries, and to keep things exciting we rotate through different beers weekly. We also have an interesting bottle beer selection featuring an ever-changing list of local, Belgian and American, and international brews.

Kitchen Hours:
Mon-Wed: 4pm - 10pm
Thurs-Fri: 4pm - 11pm
Sat: 11am - 3pm (brunch) 4pm-11pm (dinner)
Sun: 11am - 3pm (brunch) 4pm-10pm (dinner)

Note: Kitchen closed from 3pm-4pm on weekends for menu turnover.

Before I lived in East York, The Wren was the first place I ever visited out here. It's now one of my go-to date locations because the beer selection is great, the food is always good, and the ambiance is stellar.
Great beer, great food! They’ve got awesome burger specials, keep an eye on their Instagram each week. Had a fantastic fried chicken sandwich a few weeks ago. Can’t wait to dine in here again, always have an interesting tap list. Their to-go menu has been great during covid, beer and wine to go too!
Not only did they have the best surprise pop-up from our favorite Ottawa brewery Dominion City this weekend, but their menu consists of welcome cultural twists on typical pub food. So Toronto. Will be back for sure!
All their food has been bangers and clangers everytime. I’m a teenager and all my friends parents go here it’s a total Gen X place but it’s still really good and I take my friends here. Good as a straight up restaurant without being 19
Had to wait a bit after pre ordering for pick up. Was worth it! Give them some lead time. Was busy during a Covid restricted pick up. Great food.
