This is a bar with a mysterious and great atmosphere. Staff is very polite, this was very important. The music varies from the 80’s - today’s. You can even dance in there. It is busy, so maybe it is a good idea to call and reserve if you want to get a table. Pizza was delicious and also the rice meatballs.  Ride the cliche is the cocktail we ordered and loved it. Bathroom was clean. We had a great time.

Great bar offering pizzas and surprise surprise with vegan options! I would recommend the fun-guy pizza mushrooms and truffle oil on a cream base. They use Violife vegan cheese and warning: it’s a lot of it! Service was fast and friendly. Bar atmosphere was great.

Super cute space, very nice owner and staff. Drinks were priced reasonably, had arancini and the mushroom pizza,  both were tasty. I was with a friend from Italy and she also enjoyed it! Go early if you want a quieter atmosphere,  stay late if you want a party with friends.

Went out with friends to the Vatican last night last minute. They found a table for a group of 6 of us and we had a drink. The server came by to unfortunately inform us that our table was actually reserved but moved us to the standing bar which was perfectly fine with us. They even covered our drinks and offered a complimentary shot. We’ll definitely be back to try to food soon!

This is more of a bar and even a college dive bar than a speakeasy. The staff are nice and it's a good size place but it's not for everyone. Better spots that give more of a speakeasy vibe in the city.

Great secret bar/ pizza spot with a great cocktail menu. The ambience is something of a church meet dungeon. A definite must visit if you're on the east end of Toronto.

Always spectacular,  fantastic service, food and drinks. The vibe is always upbeat, perfect music and crowd.

Way more fun than the actual Vatican and so much closer! amazing pizza and tasty drinks, ambiance is great and the meatballs were very tasty—but would benefit being served alongside some spaghetti.

This is a speakeasy, something I had never gone to, and in the past had only heard of in passing whispered rumors. Needless to say, I was intrigued. I was there for a friends birthday, and I had a great time. If you have never been, then I won't ruin the suprise as to how you get inside. Just be sure to look for the glowing red crosses upon arrival, as that is the only indicator  along with the inevitable, short, line that forms beneath it and faint writing on the door of where this place is. Once you're in yes there is coatcheck if you need it you go straight to the dance floor, or if you preffer, to the bar. They make designer cocktails and rrgular cocktails and wine and beer and shots, etc that are both cute and delicious. If I'm being honest the drinks cost a lil more then I would like to pay for a fancy cocktail, prices ranging upwards from $12, but they are delicious...and it is a speakeasy...and apparently thats a normal price range for a drink at this type of establishment. ‍ After you procure your libation you can try going to the dance floor, although its probably best you don't since you probably don't want your drink all over the floor, as the dance floor can get very crowded, lots and lots of fun, but not a safe place for filled to the brim beverages. Instead, wander over to a high table and enjoy your drink in peace. Better yet, if you know you are going to be showing up with lots of people, much like the birthday party I attended, you can arrange to have a super cozy and comfy booth. Best part of the booth, is it has a much more appropriate sized table to accomodate the best part about this place...which is...of course...the artisan pizza that they make fresh in house to order. Yes they also sell pizza. In fact...thats the only food they sell. Why? Because they're smart. That said...I am going to have to go back and actually taste it I am on a diet at the moment and couldn't have the carbs and fat and the calories *le sigh* and leave a detailed review of my experience. Till then, I hope this review encourages you to check it out.

Update: This place just gets better and better! Expanded menu, more nights open. Great spot!  LOVE this place. Amazing space, with such a great design. Fabulous staff. As per their other places, unparalleled cocktails and thoughtful wine and beer selections. Also here? Great Neopolitan pizza! Solid playlist as well. Just go.
