The Source

Very rude staff at this location. I was not satisfied with a tempered glass screen protector I had purchased from another store and went in to ask if they sold other alternatives such as the plastic/ rubber film. They agressively argued over my preference telling me that those options won't protect my phone and pushed for glass. The last screen film I had was plastic and it lasted 2 years with no breakage so I can't say I agreed with them. Overall experience was not helpful, not to mention the unnecessary argument that pursued afterwards. A simple "sorry no we don't carry those " would have sufficed.

I used to like shopping at The Source downtown Victoria but have changed my mind. I bought a laptop for my son , which to me is a high ticket purchase, only to have the inexperienced guy mess up my receipt so when I returned to get the warranty attached didn't have the right information on it to do the transaction. Then a woman told me I had 30 days turned out I had only 2 weeks and told me I would have to bring the whole thing back to attached the extended warranty, which apparently was wrong information. Then the fellow I talked to who said he was the manager, rudely authorize the extended warranty. At that time I ask for a cable for my son's phone and received the wrong one. When my son went back the next day to exchange it was treated rudely, by whomever was working that day. When I called the manager to complain, he was again rude to me saying he knew what I was, and that the boxes are similar, then proceeded apologize then hung up on me! So much for his apology. I'm sorry I bought my son's laptop from them as I feel they clearly do not know the first thing about customer service or customer retention! I will be taking my money and business to another outlet, which is located in Mayfair Mall, where the staff is kind, courteous and actually know what they are talking about! If I could've I would've brought back my son's laptop and gone elsewhere! I have dealt with the Source for many years and have bought numerous items along with the extended warranties but with the way both I was treated along with my son will have to think about dealing with this company again! I can't believe they employ someone who is that rude!

Could not believe how rude your employees were while I was in this location. I am super disappointed and I will now be taking all my purchases to Best Buy and I would strongly suggest anyone else do the same.

Associate was super rude, talking down to me like I was an absolute imbread idiot. Decided to take my money slesewhere
