The Royal Oak - Stittsville

Got the lobster roll during their Lobsterfest event, which we weren't the biggest fans of. Tasted more like a generic seafood salad roll. Loved the side salad though, which was very fresh. The happy hour specials here are pretty good, can't go wrong with their spinach & artichoke dip.

Great evening with 15 of us celebrating a 70th birthday party. It was a fun atmosphere and we weren't rushed out but must say they were a bit overwhelmed as drinks took a while to come. In fairness, there was also an even larger party for a 50th birthday party on top of regular clients and the servers were quite young so likely inexperienced but very pleasant.nnThey allowed us to bring our own birthday cake in too. Also, there was some confusion at the end of the night for who was paying for what.nnHouse wine was great and so was the Whisky Sour. We had the Butter Chicken and Grilled Salmon that were hot and delicious. Plenty of parking. This is definitely a place I'd come back too whether for a meal or for drinks to watch a game and play darts.

Me and co worker's come here often, we are doing the retirement home near by and as blue collars we love to have a drink once in awhile. The main reason we keep coming here. We, but me personally love the friendly, service the personal friendship we have since now Amber has not just did her job but also took time to build a relashionship with customers. That's worth more then just providing a service for Royal Oak, it's building a reputation and I always tell everyone I know to come here. This is how business grow. Also the food is great and the team here is awesome.

Great service. The rest looked promising, but the food was quite underwhelming. Very dry wings, no sides no veggies during specials, kids meals also very basic burger paddy + bun, no toppings, fries tasted old.

Great ambience with a wood fireplace to warm the room. Great for family get together and the service was attentive. Of particular mention is Augusta. She was so pleasant. It made our visit a memorable one. The food was nice.
