Decided to try this restaurant out. It was a lovely experience overall. The decor is beautiful especially with the tree outside. There's a fan on the patio which helps redirect the scent of marijuana from the store next door. There is a separate lounge area with music etc. The decor is fancy but the vibe caters to casual or edgy too. It can get a bit loud but not bothersome. Tried the grilled shrimp with mango chutney and it was absolutely delicious - loved it. Then got the gnocchi gorgonzola and thankfully they allow you to get a half-portion, which is great because I was actually able to finish it without wasting a bunch. The gnocchi was great too, as was the latte. The lemon sorbet comes in an actual lemon which was real cute. The server, Adam, was friendly, thoughtful, diligent, and very welcoming. Would love to return. Keep in mind that parking is a bit peculiar but basically you can park in the street or at neighbouring businesses at night since they're all closed but not much dedicated parking for the actual restaurant.

Overall it was just okay.nnJust a warning, our water glasses had some random stuff floating in it, so maybe check before drinking.nnThe bread start was really good! Took way too long to get out order and food out. I think we arrived around 7 and got our food closer to 9:30. The food was a tad bit salty and didn't really include too much protein. We got the Lobster ravioli, it was a bit fishy, tasted more like imitation crab. Also the linguine basco, was a bit salty got my taste but good flavour overall.nnThe atmosphere was nice, but was not expecting an Italian restaurant to have a full DJ. We were sitting inside and could barely hear each other talk.nnParking was a bit weird and limited the one near the entrance is for another restaurant.

The restaurant we originally wanted to go to because we had gift cards for was fully booked, we decided to head here after calling to check their wait times. We were told we could be seated right away! Yay! Loved the food and the service.nnWe were seated in a room in the back with a lovely and romantic atmosphere, just wasn’t a fan of being seated in the furthest corner possible in the restaurant :/ it’s beside an emergency exit and one of the two people at the table stares at a blank wall while the other sits and gets a wonderful view of a bar and beautiful decor. Considering there were many tables in this room I’m not sure why this was the one chosen. Other then this being our second time here and both times got awkward seating the place is lovely. First time there it was fully packed as it was trending on social media.

Dueling pianos were excellent, a little louder than I would choose for brunch. Food was delicious with generous portions. Service was attentive. Will go again.

Update: I'm still enjoying this place a couple of years later. I recently visited with my sister-in-law for a random night out. I wish we were celebrating something - the staff really do put on a show!nnWe were a group of five couples. The atmosphere was so wonderful it felt like you were in a movie.... with good food! The drinks were also awesome.
