Story

The Roxy Theatres of Uxbridge is a two-screen theatre with state-of-the-art digital technology and a vintage charm. It's a place for folks to meet on a Saturday night, a place where kids can hang out with their friends, and where families can have a great night out. Clean, comfortable, easily accessible, with the best popcorn around, The Roxy offers a movie-going experience the way it is supposed to be - friendly, familiar, and affordable.
This is Uxbridge's theatre and we are dedicated to providing the best service to our neighbours. We are open 7 days a week, with matinees on weekends and holidays. In the Summer months, we screen movies every day and night. We always strive to have at least one family-friendly movie and movies that appeal to teens and adults.

We moved to Uxbridge about a year and a half ago, and we love this place. We will never move from Uxbridge.nOne of the great features of this small town is our theater , The Roxy. From the bubble window to buy your tickets at, to the very reasonable prices, to one of the staff coming in and announcing the movie before it starts, to the retro props and posters decorating the inside, to the best popcorn EVER!, to the friendliest staff, and they even have wine and local beers to take in with you if you wish, The Roxy is AWESOME! And the movies are always current. If you get a chance to take in a late show or even a matinee, you wont be disappointed. We hope The Roxy is here forever.
Horrible lady who doesnt like disabled ppl. She took my mobility scooter said i cant have it in theater . Therss lots of room. Theres no signs saying mobility scooters are not welcome. Hamdicap person is disabled. Lady. . Hello if i fall because i have stability issues because i have been body slammed off two cars so im not just fat im disabled too, thats a big fail for roxy . theater. Shame on u. update: there's a spot at the top set of chairs that would accommodate mobility scooter without creating fire hazard. Considering 3 wks aprox prior I was allowed in with my mobility scooter and it was against the wall and we were on the other side with access to the door in case of emergency. So how is it OK 3 wks ago and now it isn't. Took 3 wks to come up with a way to discriminate against me being a disabled person. Very very shameful state of affairs for Roxy. And to add I paid for group to go see stitch in newmarket and was feeling good so I didnt use my mobility scooter and have a very very bad fall I was on the ground for an hour. So Roxy theater does not dictate how disable person gets around in the theater nope sorry. Disabled lives matter.
Old time movie theater without the ridiculous prices for food like the galaxy cinema empire. The seats were super comfortable and the sound was good , we could hear a little of the action movie going on in the next theater but not enough to be a distraction . We drove 1.5 hours to come here and it was worth it.We will definitely be back .
A two-theatre cinema with a snack bar, wine, beer and grazing boxes. Servers will layer the butter onto your popcorn. The seats are comfortable. All this is within 100 feet of the sidewalk. For those who prefer a quieter, cozier movie-going experience, it is perfect. The sound system is up to the job, though! Old movie posters and art deco styling add to the vintage atmosphere.
Roxy Theatre Uxbridge has always given back to their community. Whether through the amazing Movie, Manicure & Martini night to raise funds for a local charity that is one of my favourites, to my kids growing up with Roxy Kids in Action doing volunteer work around the community, to the most recent Covid-19 opening up for us to by their yummy popcorn for their door. They have an awesome nostalgic theatre too. How many people can say they have a movie theatre owned by such caring people like we do? Thank you Cathy Christoff. From the bottom our our hearts.
