Cineplex Odeon Ajax Cinemas

At this location the staff are friendly, helpful and professional. It's always clean, tidy and smells good. We always enjoy our visits. The games are always clean and in good repair. The movie selection is good. The only thing is the price for pop corn is steep/ high. Most other items are priced ok. This cinema is not a new theatre but I love it just the way it is. I don't like the new ones like Oshawa.

Recently I took my pal Benjamin and his best friend, Jacob to watch Black Panther: Wakanda Forever it was a great experience but there were many flaws in this establishment. For one the chairs were sticky and uncomfortable, However I do enjoy going here because it is often vacant and not too busy, sometimes I even have the theater to myself! But this can lead to problems of teenagers engaging in public displays of affection that ruined the experience and traumatized my little fella Benjamin. He keeps asking me what they were doing I'm trying to make these questions come to a halt as he is only eight and three quarters! Please try and stop people from engaging in public displays of affection.

We booked our tickets for 9:45pm show. We arrived at the theater at 9:55 and the doors were closed. The staff locked the doors from inside. It was freezing outside, and we were trying to knock the door to open it, but no one cared to check and were ignoring that someone is waiting outside. Staff busy on phone, using airpods and not even interested in scanning our tickets at the the entrance because he was busy on a call. Horrible experience at this location and very unprofessional.

Terrible experience at this theatre. I had purchased a ticket to the live showing of AEW All Out. This event is scheduled for about 5 hours, after arriving at the theatre about 15 minutes before the event was set to start I found out this theatre did not serve any hot food they were even out of hot dogs. After purchasing popcorn and drink I went to the my seat. This theatre needs upgrades as the seats were terribly uncomfortable, dated and very close together, it was like going to a theatre 20 years ago. The event was slated to start at 7PM, by 7:10PM nothing was on the screen still and a staff member came in to tell us that they were having technical difficulties and they weren't sure if they were going to be able to resolve it and that we could wait it out or get a refund. I chose to get a refund as it was clear that as only myself and one other person were in the theatre that they had no intention of moving forward with this event. I was asked to show my ticket, my email confirmation and my scene card for my refund. After doing so I was told I would receive my refund within 24 hours, I requested a receipt but was told there wouldn't be one and that they "had to process it in the back". It's now been about 2 weeks since and I have yet to receive the refund for the $30 ticket I had purchased. I paid $30 to sit in an empty theatre for 15 minutes with nothing on and the privilege of paying for overpriced popcorn and a drink only to leave the theatre shortly after. If you like having a large corporation flat out steal from you, then I guess this is the place to go.

Cineplex Ajax is a great movie theater with ample parking and comfortable seating. This location is well maintained and has 3D screenings. There is an arcade corner and vending machines for snacks in case you miss the concession counter at the entrance. The pop corn is always freshly prepared. The bathrooms are clean but the urinals lack dividers, which does not really cost much to install.

DO NOT GO HERE. Was in AUD 3 and got bed bug bites from those fabric seats. Threw out the clothes I was wearing as soon as I entered my house. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I always tell my wife that I am sorry and not anymore at this place Chairs are so uncomfortable sound too loud that I had to ask staff to lower the volume but still no help so I roll the brown tissue and put a piece in my ear which I luckily picked up when buttering my popcorn

Watched avatar 2 in 3D. The seats are not that comfortable in the AUD,08. The movie was long. But it overall staff were good.

I went to see a movie in the area. I was utterly shocked at how untidy the theater was kept. It was like walking into a popcorn apocalypse! The floor was covered in popcorn by the concession stand. Disgusting! After the movie it was the same thing! Mess everywhere including the washrooms. I have been to other Cineplex theatres they are immaculate. You see staff cleaning everywhere you walk. Exhibit A...the pics below dont really do it justice. What a dissapointment.
