Third time I've been here, 1st time I had a perfect experience, food was smokey, beer was cold, company was good. 2nd time the same, 3rd time... not so much... It was definitely a busy day, and my friends and I were probably in the middle of their service rush... That being said --- food arrived, we proceeded to gorge ourselves --- but soon came to a realization that the consistency of food had disappeared. Our ribs were burnt to a crisp, and quite tough, smoked chicken was dry as well. Wings were still good though. The sides were still dripped in grease. Unlike the other times, it felt as if food was being forced out the kitchen, but the quality dropped because of this. I wish I could give it a 5 star based on my first 2 experiences, but this third time brought it down just a bit. I still love this place, and I will return again, I hope that the food will be more consistent next time. PS. Beer was still cold so that's definitely a plus!

Great place and as many people know has been featured on "You gotta eat here!" 2 things I recommend. Don't wait forever to come for dinner because there is a good chance they will run out of brisket or something popular. Make reservations if you don't want to wait. Aside from that just enjoy the delicious BBQ. I always order more than I need and take home a healthy portion for a day or 2 worth of leftovers. I recommend the 2 or 3 meat platter which comes with 2 sides of your choice. Lots of beers on tap as well. Always like to try something new while I'm here. Don't come to the Lanc unless you're running on E!

Absolutely amazing! The staff was incredible, the atmosphere welcoming, and the food was never ending! Very large portions for an excellent price. We had the brisket (10/10), pulled pork (10/10), chicken (9/10), and ribs (11/10). Food was fast, pork rinds were crackling, and meat was incredibly tender. I cant belive I've not been here before! Looking forward to the next visit!!!!

Best smoked meat I've ever tasted!!! Too bad there isn't a closer location to Toronto but if I'm craving it I'll drive almost 2 hrs to get the food it's that good!! At least I don't have to cross the border for real southern smoked food! Reasonable prices, friendly service. It was on the show 'you gotta eat here' highly recommend this smokehouse!

Love this place & Steve is THE best server this side of the border!! Finding GF options was a bit of a challenge & vegans should consider another restaurant altogether. The collard greens are by far the best I've ever had (& I've had them in all the southern states!). This is a joint you want to put on your list of restaurants to eat at! One downfall though is the waiting times & no reservations policy. Go early or go late - those are your best options to get in - esp on a Friday or Saturday night when there's entertainment.
