My mother and I decided to try a new restaurant and found this one. Now parking is not ideal but that's what you get with downtown! I got to say the food was AMAZING the pasta was cooked to perfection especially the cabonara which was a dream to eat. We highly highly highly enjoyed it. The service was great as well the place was kept very tidy and they were extremely helpful. Definitely one of the best place to get pasta. And we are definitely coming back! Kid-friendliness: We didn't order any kid items but I believe my kids would love this place

Friendly and very attentive staff, great place for a date night. Bustling but not crowded atmosphere, very nice for sitting and chatting and savoring the food. The glazed camembert is my new favorite thing! The bacon and scallops linguine was pretty good and the serving sizes are very reasonable. I like the menu and customizability but the taste didn't hit 5 stars relative to the price.

Served by the owner I think and he was really nice! Food was amazing, we got the ricotta gnocchi and bacon and scallop pasta. 10/10 would recommend giving it a try. There’s free street parking on Joseph street nearby

Highly recommend this restaurant! The owner and staff were very sweet and welcoming. We had a birthday dinner and they were very helpful with organizing it. One thing you HAVE to order is the glazed Camembert. Tried making it at home a few times and it’s never as good as the restaurant’s.

I found a new favorite spot! I visited for the first time tonight and it definitely won't be my last. My husband and I had reservations so we didn't have to wait. I'm glad we did as the spot is small and quaint but BUSY!!! Everything we tried were cooked to perfection. The service was excellent!!!! The owner was very caring and wanted to ensure ALL his customers were taken care of and satisfied. It was someone's birthday and he blasted "Bella Ciao" from Money heist on the speakers. All my waiters were fantastic and I seriously would kiss the cook. The food was cooked to PERFECTION!!! Incredibly delicious and excellent service. I highly recommend 271 West in their new spot.

Another lovely and delicious meal at 271 West. I had the French onion soup to start. It was certainly different then some others I have had, unique flavour but very tasty. The 271 shrimp linguine was great as well, and the boca negra ... perfect end to a great meal. Service is exceptional. Everyone is friendly and kind, owner Is very attentive and ensures you have a great experience. One of my favourite restaurants hands down!

Is there an option to give more than 5 stars? I absolutely love this restaurant. Everything I have ordered , whether it is an appetizer, entrée, or dessert even the wine has been top notch food. The atmosphere is pleasant, staff is incredibly friendly. The owner is constantly around, checking in with patrons and supporting staff which just brings up morale all around. I've gone a few times over the past couple years, once pre-pandemic, once with some restrictions, and most recently last night at the new location to celebrate with my boyfriend at our favourite restaurant. We come all the way from Hamilton area and it is so worth it. Amazing every single time!

Ordered the 271West Shrimp Pasta. The pasta noodles were made in-house and had great texture. The shrimps were perfectly cooked. The garlic bread was toasted on one side the other side was fluffy like a brioche bun and it was amazing. The rosé sauce was alright.

Hello again, today I went for lunch to 271West Restaurant in Kitchener, Ontario. This wasn’t my first time at this restaurant, but it was my first time back at its new location in the bottom of a newly built condo on Charles street which was a nice upgrade of a space for this restaurant in my opinion. First impressions was nice seeing the owner still opening the door upon arrival to the restaurant and greeting every customer that walks in with warm welcoming arms. After I was seated I was immediately told the specials for the day given water and very shortly after greeted by my waiter who was nice as well. Today I ordered the Ricotta Gnocchi, the Penne Pesto Di Manzo, as well as a Veggie pizza. The food is still very fresh and both the gnocchi and the penne was made fresh and tasted as good as it looks in the picture. I did ask for salt for the penne, because it was barely under seasoned for my liking. I definitely recommend both dishes. As for the pizza I found it very watery in the middle, but that most likely has to do with a mix of the pizza being a Neapolitan style and the amount of water content that comes out of the veggies and bruschetta that was on it after being cooked, so unfortunately I didn’t enjoy the pizza, but I do recommend trying one of their more simplistic pizza’s with less ingredients on it. Overall I give the restaurant a 4 star for quality, taste and the service; as the waiter also held the door and said thank you on my way out as well. Thanks for the read! Happy eating!

I loved it! Great service, super friendly staff. Food was delicious and I want to go back and try other things!! Environment was great! They truly try and make everything perfect for you which is awesome! Go here, well worth it!
