The Keg Steakhouse & Bar

Was supposed to eat at Leslie and 401 but the wait was too long. Called this location and told 1/2 hour wait. Arrived and got a table within 15 minutes. Everything from the door people, to our server to the food was encouraging to see that some restaurants and servers still know what customer service is. Our server was amazing..attentive..incredible. Our food was delicious. WOW. A table of 7. 4 Steaks cooked to perfection. 1 roast beef slider..unreal. chicken fingers..perfect..dessert..perfect. Been a while since I have been to a Restaurant that gave such a high degree of service and dining experience. For sure the leader in Restaurant Service. Both my hubby and I would love to recommend this Keg! From Marie (our awesome hostess) to Luke C., (our patient and informative waiter), to Arvin, (the manager) who came to our table and assisted me with my order due to allergies I have with certain foods. It was a pleasure to dine there! Ambiance of comfort and class! The food? Adored! 👍👍👍

We have gone to Ajax Keg on more than one occasion.. Sometimes on Friday and Saturday nights the music is too loud a s you can't talk to your date. However Sunday night it was quiet and we celebrated our wedding anniversary. Although my steak wasn't cooked enough, manager on duty Michelle made it right by buying a round of a great red wine. Our server Lauren was the best. We got a free shared dessert for the occasion and will definitely be back.

Just knocked my rating down for this Keg location after my latest experience. Waitress was great and very friendly; however, everything else about this visit was a horrible experience. After placing our order and the delightful warm bread arrived, I proceeded to cut it into four pieces to share with my wife. After consuming said warm bread, and prior to our main course arriving, I realized the knife I used to cut the bread was dirty (unwashed). When our main course arrived (I ordered a bacon-wrapped filet mignon) I got a steak and one piece of crispy bacon plated next to the slab of meat, which would have never been able to wrap around the steak. (It looked like a leftover piece of bacon that would have been fried for breakfast) I mentioned this to the waitress and she seemed confused with what was on my plate. She took it back to the kitchen to investigate. Shortly after, the manager brought my plate back, unchanged, and said for safety reasons they don't use toothpicks to hold the bacon on anymore (patrons were finding toothpicks in their meat). Accepting her reasoning, my wife and I proceeded to eat our meals... the steaks were cooked to our liking; however, they were very bland... the chef must have ran out of the Keg spices I guess. We had planned to stay for dessert and coffee, but decided to spend our money elsewhere, as a result of the whole experience. > Have never had a bad steak here. Twice baked potato is usually good, but sometimes can be dry. Wait staff are great too.

Very mad. I went there at 1230 and they said they closed there kitchen. I am a frequant customer at the keg and never have someone closed the kitchen exactly at 1230 when there is still half hour that's bad management
