Had the 'all you can eat lunch'. Lots of choices. Had soup, chicken, beef, dumplings, sushi, jello and green tea. Place could do with a good cleaning, was seated face forward to main entrance. Really need to clean windows. Seated in a booth and sides of booth need to be wiped down. Makimono, love coming here but of late you have dropped off regarding appearance. Sort these things out and I will gladly put up stars.

The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the special sushi rolls, was great. wonderful meal that was perfectly served by our waitress, who also filled us in on the local community. The foods came very fast and hot (not warm) oh so good. All in all, a perfect stay!!

I was more than eager to dine at this lovely Sushi restaurant. However, my server Sally was quite silly when seating us at the second table at around seven. I then ordered six servings of spicy salmon Sushi for supper and Sally, our server, seemed slightly suprised at the amount of sweet Sushi we could stomach. She shook her head as she shouted at Chef Shawn to serve us a Substantial amount of sushi I am truly shocked by the slightly sub par service Sally showed when serving the selection of Sushi to myself and my seven friends. See you soon Sally. I told ya!

This is a fine Makimono location where you can always get fresh food and hot meso soup. The sushi is fresh and nicely prepared and the green tea ice cream is phenomenal. The restaurant and the facilities are wheelchair accessible. Service is friendly and prompt. The all-you-can eat option is worth it if you have an appetite. Parking is free and wheelchair friendly. Overall, a great Makimono location.

Great, but expect to pay a premium. Relative to other sushi places in Durham, it's on the higher end of pricing for sure. But definitely worth it because the food is actually really good. Great to bring anyone you wish to impress.
