Overall, super poor experience. There was a hair in my food, never got a refill for our table’s water for the entire duration of our meal, and we were given a very obviously unwashed plate food stains and sauce marks all over. Food is below mediocre, customer service was not good but still left a good and fair tip considering the bare minimum wasn’t even reached for our experience. Will never come back here again.
Our server was wonderful, the service and timing was excellent unfortunately the food was just ok. My mom wanted to go because they are so good in the US, not the same experience here. We had the Oriental Chicken Salad get with the times Applebee's and rename that salad, Grilled Teriyaki Salad is a good substitute! BLT, Homestyle Chicken Bowl and a kids shrimp & fries. Very underwhelming, wouldn't go back.
The food is absolutely delicious. The service was 10/10. We were in a hurry to get to Toronto to see a performance and they did an excellent job in getting our order into the kitchen, bill ready, and leftovers ready to go. Would recommend again! My only complaint is we need an Applebee's here in Ottawa!! Thanks again for such a great dining experience.
My dining experience at the Applebee's in Toronto was very pleasant. Although I live in the states Virginia, I haven't visited an Applebee's in at least 4 years, due to several unpleasant dining experiences, so dinner was very enjoyable and our server was great, considering she was the only server on duty when we visited so sorry I forgot her name. The food was good. Will probably give the Applebee's near me another try!
We live in montreal and when we go to totonto we always stop by applebees cause we LOVE the mac and cheese with the chicken strips. As usual it was delicious and I took the shark bowl drink wich was enormous ! My husband had to finish it for me. Service was good too loved our server but dont remember her name unfortunately
Haven't eaten at Applebee's in a long time. Food was good, my Stella tasted off, but I did not complain, my waitress was great and I am sure she would have replaced it .. we had a party of 8 and everyone enjoyed their food.
Possibly some of the best service my family has gotten! The food was delicious, the pricing was fairly standard, and there were plenty of really unique options, including crazy food mixes that I had never heard of, so it was cool trying new things! I wish the patio set up was a bit more forgiving in terms of the sun.
My mother and I have been going to this Applebee's on a regular basis for many years. The food is always good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable and they have promotions and reward programs for regular customers. We love the atmosphere. Not loud like so many other restaurants. We will continue to go to this Applebee's and highly recommend it. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Has reasonable kids menu. My server is as Josie. Our service was excellent Parking: Large parking lot Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is on one level and is easily wheelchair accessible
Went in today after lunch hour. People were leaving the restaurant unimpressed saying there were 2 groups of 30 from a hockey tournament. The hostess advised us there would be a 10 minute wait which we were fine with. We got to our table 20 minutes later and promptly ordered our drinks and starters. Our starters arrived in good time, however we had no cutlery or napkins. The waitress visited the table opposite ours 3 times, each time we tried to flag her attention but with no luck. I finally went to the bar to ask for cutlery and she was very responsive in making that happen, but it seemed like there was a shortage in cutlery throughout the restaurant, not just something that was overlooked. When we finally got our cutlery our starter was cold. Our drinks went without refills while we ate our mains. The fish and chips was horrible, the fries were good but the fish was not fresh whatsoever and was rubbery. I would not recommend it to anyone. The burger, wings, and waffle poutine were good. The soda was also disgusting, clearly the flavoring syrup was dissipated and the drink was mainly soda water. By far this was the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant, and the bill was $75 for complete disappointment all around. I understand that things get busy, but if you can’t accommodate large groups without disrupting operations, perhaps it is something that should be revisited. Will not be visiting again.
Had a great lunch. Server was amazing, Chelsea, hostess could have helped out a little. Basically sat at bar, had to ask her to wipe table. Brought us takeout container and didn't pick up dirty dishes!! Girl needs to be trained properly!!Food: 4/5
