Received a gift certificate to go. Food was ok, not as good as I remembered the Keg being. Won't be my go-to steak house for Halifax as there are better options

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff, but the food didn't stand out from other places with similar menus.

Menu selection is mediocre at best. Nit the best choices in steak cuts and not much in the waybof alternate choices if you are not in the mood for steak. Bar menu for beers is severly lacking and i was not impressed when i ordered a beer and it was served in a can. Had to ask for a glass. For the price and "classiness" of the restaurant tthus missed the mark. Great wine menu although highly over priced for the choices. Food when it finally came was way overcooked as it sat in the heating oven too long. Was not impressed with the service, menu or price. This is yet another restaurant in serious decline from its lofty station of a couple years ago. Not recommended.
