I had been at Cheers and experienced rude door staff and servers. Not spending my money there again. Now, in this day and age, a friend was kicked out and made to feel sub-human because he is gay. That's it, he's gay. He is the happiest most fun loving human that I know. We are all in the industry and know how to behave. The homophobic staff needs to have a reality check.

Crowded, notoriously crazy and power-hungry bouncers. The whole place just has a bad vibe. Cheap drinks though. Only bar I've ever been to where you have to get frisked before going inside. Halifax has so many great bars and clubs to choose from, this is definitely the worst I've ever been to.

After hearing of a decent establishment, I was misinformed unfortunately. My fiancé and I spent the Winter in Hailfax and after our first lunch here, we found the meal and service to be sub-par. We thought we would give it another shot, and was disappointed once again. The waitress was more involved with her co-workers than servicing. The lunch we ordered (I had the pulled pork sandwich), and I found it tasted as if it was sitting for a number of days. I was subsequently sick afterwards unfortunately. Please find yourself an establishment that is up to higher standard. Don't waste your money here. Being in Halifax, my favorite is the Wooden Monkey for all meals.

Allegedly you can order food here. However In my experience, this serves as the live-music host for late night cover bands and karaoke. Drinks are over-priced and the staff are slow to respond due to the large demand.
