Story

Now with two locations!

Try our gastropub located on Grafton Street in downtown Halifax for upscale comfort food, tons of craft beers on tap, a great wine selection and the best vibe in town.

On the waterfront from May to October visit our open air beer garden at the Summit Plaza off Lower Water Street. (NO RESERVATIONS AT THIS LOCATION.)

Generally great food here. Their all day brunch menu is really nice, but the portions for the healthier options are quite small. Was disappointed in the size of my meals each time I ordered one of these. Service is always amazing, responsive, and friendly. They also have one of the best selections of local beer on tap outside of the beer bars. recommended but have a pizza or sandwich.

Reserved from open table app for the Saturday brunch! I had steak and egg and it was delicious. Food was good, but service was not excellent. There was no one in the door to welcome you or get your info. We seated and wait for more than 10 mins for the menu. But food was awesome! As we came for the brunch the portion size of the food is really small. Always recommend to make a reservation before you go and order starter before your main meal!

The food was so delicious and flavourful. We had brunch and I ordered Mushroom and egg. I wanted egg to be fully cooked and asked for it but it was served soft and juicy. 😒My husband thought that his plate was too small for a brunch. Apart from those the food was amazing !

Great brunch! They now have a Sunday discount if you wear sweatpants for brunch. I love when restaurants make sweatpants socially acceptable. The server was prompt and all the food was delicious. If you are looking for something that is delicious and fairly priced for the portion, head to the stubborn goat for brunch everyday of the week!

Incredibale ( if I were Italian) crab soup is incredible and great beer selection. A must when you visit the area. Service is superb!
